Twin Valley loses by 22 to Sumter, SC. They were tied at halftime and then Sumter's pressure got the best of them.

Dude, it says Rye Cove right in the post.
It was edited, just said JIB by one point when I first read it.
Harlan (Ind.) was leading Rye Cove something like 65-25, with about 3 minutes or so to go in the game, according to WSWV as they were awaiting the Lee-Appy game to start.
Sounds like the JIB/RC game was a good one. Too bad they are 2 of the 3 best girls teams in the tourney and had to square off in the first round.

They may be, and should be decent but I think JJK, JIB and RC are each better at this time. Council should have a lot of JRs on their team but seemed not to play as well last year as they did their freshman year.

They appear to be much better this year with the coaching change.
A couple of the girls shot the ball from outside well 2 years ago, and they used the traditional Council zone well. D1 should be interesting between RC, Ervinton, JIB, Council and Twin Valley.
I keep forgetting we have divs in b-ball, now.

Tickled to death to see my cuz stepping up for the Lady Indians. Against Pound she had 14 points 12 rebounds,and last night vs Appy she led the Lady Indians in scoring. She has to be one of the ones that does what seniors do,and that is contribute. I'm awfully proud of her.
