UF has had 25 players arrested for commiting crimes since 2005.
no ncaa coverage whatsoever.
i think its about official, the ncaa will fine alabama, maybe have to vacate up to 21 wins, and placed on an additional three years probation, but no scholarship loses.

There's a lot more that will probably come out that's gonna make this textbook thing look like a welcome thing. It involves boosters, car dealerships, cruises for Julio, the FBI. This could be the death blow. I thought you'd probably heard about all of this earlier or I'd have sent you a pm. I'm sure the "another proof that the world hates alabama" statement was more out of frustration, but others would have gotten the death penalty a lot sooner. Worse times may be ahead of you.
as far as i know, at this minute the ncaa has completed all their investigations into alabama football. ive heard from many people in t-town and gadsen, which at one point was supposedly the source of the death blow, was proven all to be a total fake.
the ncaa will never lay out another death penalty, after what happened to SMU, i would almost swear that the ncaa will never do that again.
if miami didnt get it, alabama will never get it.

and lung, im being totally honest and unbias here; i do not believe julio jones was involved in any kind of huge recruiting violations. he has no escalade, an older tahoe. he wasnt recruiting for oklahoma in his trip to florida, the newspaper made it up. no coach saw him getting into an escalade, that was a lie. the big alabama charm? a gift from his mother, she was quoted as buying it five years ago. julio's mom did not get a job given to her, etc...
but i would be interested to hear some of the stuff youve heard.

the facts are the fbi did raid a dealership, but it had nothing whatsover to do with alabama football. an alabama player had his car bought from their by his parents.

a fishing trip JJ and mark ingram took with an AWBARN(the source of all these rumors) booster and two girls, nothing came of that because the players reembursed the man.
the main reason for all these rumors is bobby lowder's stepping down at AU board of trustees, so auburn feels threatened in the recruiting game without his deep deep pockets.
logan young has been dead for three years, so i dont know how any booster talk is coming about; young paid lynn lang (who was found guilty of some charges). there is not another known alabama booster that has supposedly been behind the scene with strings.
cmon lung, i know roy's workin overtime to get alabama cause their winning now, but the best he can do is recycle old auburn rumors? ;)

I've heard that the stuff with the car dealerships and the fishing trip are far from over. Especially the later. Although it's hard to do anything if money was repaid. That happens all the time, but it makes you wonder where college kids who can't work and make any real money because of the NCdouble Ass holes can repay thousands of dollars. It doesn't matter to me either way. All I care about is what happens on the field. It seems like the problem in Bama isn't the University. It's the "fans" who are loving the program to death. They're the one's who are causing all the trouble.

I've never been to Volnation or any other UT site other than Rivals Volquest recruiting site. Are you talking about Roy Adams as in Logan's old buddy? If so, he goes by Tennessee Stud. I have no idea who the X person you're talking about is. The only thing I've seen Roy post about in a long time is recruits. The only thing he's been on lately is Marlon Walls getting through the clearinghouse to get into UT. I've not seen him post anything about Bama on Volquest.

but volnation has a running source, called volfanX, who provides scoops about big recruits and violations and such, so i figure it to be adams as well.
i knew what he went by on the rivals board, but i am pretty sre he ventures out some.

I never view the other boards, but I've clicked on links that people have posted before to certain posts. Roy always posts as Tennessee Stud no matter which board he's on. I don't think he'd be the X person. He wants everyone to know who he is and often refers to himself in the third person when doing so. I don't think he'd do anything annonymously. He likes to have the spotlight on himself too much.
Usually the only kids he posts about are the Memphis area kids. He'll post about kids on the team every once in a while though. I've never seen him post anything on Brown. I know for a fact though that when Kiffin was dealing with Brown, that he refused to have anything to do with the go between guy. He recruited his parents and Farrell from Rivals and others have said that's one reason UT got him. He didn't deal with his handler but with his family.
I took offense to nothing you said either. I remember the Escalade but nothing about jewelry. None of it can be true or all of it can be true, either way it doesn't matter to me. Those are just some of the things I've heard about. I'm not one to make a post everytime something negative happens to some program the way a Seminole fan and a Miami fan and a couple VT fans did on here everytime some kid from UT got busted for possession or drunk in public.
i just want the SEC to stop killing itself by continually going after each other for blood, because its usually bama that catches it from everyone haha
to me, honestly, arrests i do not care about. thats not a coaches or a schools fault at all.
i look for a very exciting season, and figure to hear all kinds of juicy gossip by september hehe

If Crompton can play halfway average I think 9 wins is pretty attainable. May not happen, but it could, possibly 10 then with a bowl game. The schedule sets up nicely for them this year. Im not as concerned about the total of wins, but seeing progress this year. I think year 3 is really where we should see what Kiffen is made of.

I don't think he'll ever get a chance as a head coach again. Unless it's somewhere like Louisianna Monroe. He's a good position coach and UT unloaded a Brinks truck to get him to do that. I don't see somebody topping that.
