I hate Va Tech

I love the SEC. I have nothing against the ACC. Cept that they have Tech. I hate Va Tech. If it was a choice between a VD or a VT sticker on my vehicle. Id be more than happy to promote a VD. I hate Tech. During that game I bet I saw at least 5 Tech helmets roll.

LOL I had a few to drink last night and yesterday.

Ive got to were i pull for SEC Teams in general when they play other schools. It feels odd jumping up and getting excited over good Alabama play. BUt oh well. :) I dont think Alabama and UT will be a lopsided game. I can see them being within 6 spots of each other in ranking when they play.

the only whay that will happen is if UT walks a mud-hole through everyone they play and Bamma drops a couple games. UT isn't even ranked in the top 25 so thre is no way they move up that far to be within 6 spots of Bama unless Bamma drops a couple games.

You apparently didn't read my post or the one I resonded to. It talked about the lucky breaks VT got and I asked for a response and also noted pretty crappy breaks too. I also stated twice that Alabama was, without a doubt, the best team on the field. The VT D was able to play 3 qtrs of decent D but you could tell right before half they were getting tired and at the end of the 3rd they ran out of gas. The O was facing what probably is the #1 D in the nation and couldn't put together a good, long series all night to give the D (which was in the game 79 plays) a breather. Tech is better than a couple years ago, but they have a ways to go before they are at the top SEC, Big 12, or Pac 10 teams level. One change I would like to see is a new OC and QB coach. 2 bright spots were roberts on his returns and Williams has some pretty decent moves. I look for Bama to possibly get to the SEC title game undefeated again but possibly lose to UF. Then again, could this D be better than last years?

You hit the nail on the head there. The defense did all that they could do ,but due to the poor offense, eventually got tired allowing Bama to pull away in the fourth quarter. I don't know if Beamer will ever fire Stinespring, the OC, and a new QB coach still has to try and get something out of Taylor.

I'll have to agree with you also on all you said. Tech is going to have to get a QB because Taylor isn't looking no better, in fact he looks worse than last year. Beamer is going to have to look for a QB somewhere other than Eastern VA.

Tyrod looked better as a true freshman than he does as a Jr. O'Cain is a terrible QB coach but continues on as does Stinespring as OC because they are Franks buddies. Until Beamer can break out of the buddy system the VT O will continue as it is.

I think it really hurt VT losing Boone for the second half, he is a big target and would have helped Taylor out early

Dont condemn Taylor yet, Bama's D is one of the best in the nation, it was the first game, etc..
It sounds strange but Taylor needs to run more, VT's WR's arent that great, and i know ty wants to show he can throw, but he will need to take off more for VT to be a dynamic offense.

Greg McElroy had more rushing plays than T Taylor, that says it all.

but Ryan Williams is not that much of a drop off behind Evans, he impressed me a whole lot, he ran hard and averaged 5 YPC on a top 3 run defense.

the D needs more players, they were wore out in the 4th quarter.
and all the accolades for Worilds may have been premature, bama did a GREAT job on him and he was a non factor the whole game, he didnt impress me at all.
