Today has been a GREAT day for CFB!!!!
USC loses to a team that went winless last year;
VT makes a miracle comeback and beats Nebraska*
UT puts up a good fight, but loses.
Alabama beat North Texas by almost 50.
Now if Michigan State can score right here, and ND loses, I may jump for joy after such a great day!
*Im not a VT fan, AT ALL, but it helps Bama out that they win, so I hope they win out.

ND was pretty banged up, this shouldn't have been this close. Floyd is out, Clausen and Allen hurt a bit. Season saving win after they gave that one to Mich. last week.
If they would have lost today, Weis would have gotten the axe soon.
ND is very overrated this year, if they make a BCS bowl, I will write letters to every single voter and fill it with dog****.
Notre Dame's defense just hasn't been able to do diddly squat in these past couple games. I'm about to give up on 'em again. It's like some of the past UVA Wise teams. They can score, no problem, but can't keep the other team from doing the same! They're lucky they even won the game by three points. I figured we'd have another ND--Michigan-style screwup by the time it was over.
ND doesn't get the defensive players that it needs to be elite. They've got 2 players on D that could play for most SEC teams, Teo and Smith.
Where would you rank their O Lung? Tate, Floyd(well will be out) at WR, TE Rudolph and Armando Allen at RB...and though Clausen hasn't played up to his hype until though, but he's put up 3 straight 300 yard games this season(4 counting the Bowl game last year)
Other than Michigan they haven't played anyone in their last 4 games, IMO.
and Michigan is barely a top 25 team.
Their O is alright, they haven't been spectacular, nor have they played any defense that is actually worth anything.
Rudolph is probably the best pro prospect they have. Tate and Allen both had lots of offers but a lot of teams kind of dropped them after seeing them more in their senior year. Most of their offensive players including Clausen are all kind of small.Quote:

Fulmer went **** retarded sometimes. A guy who posts on Volquest lives in Cinci and knows the Rudolph family. The whole summer before Rudolph's SR year he kept asking the mods if UT was interested because the family told him that he loved UT. They just kept telling him that "the staff is aware of him". I have no idea why they didn't put on the full court press. With as much as UT used the TE's, until now and when they had Whitten, he's better off going where he went.
