Sooo...

Cowboys just barely won against KC in OT, Miles was great today and got the winning TD. 10 rec for 250 yards with 2 TD's.

Two things that **** me off, is...

1) Why not just go with Choice the whole game? Or at least when you see that Barber isn't playing 100%, Choice has been my favorite out of the three since I watched him in pre-season last year. I haven't seen one game where he underperformed or was really stopped. He started against Pitt last year and ran over them for 100+. Today he had 8 carries for 92 yards, 1 TD. Barber is Barber, he's great and you can't go wrong with any of their backs, but Choice has always just been on another level.


2) Why does Flozell Adams still have a job? He's awful, he ****s up every single game, had 3 or 4 of their 13 penalties today...a big 10 yard one in OT right before the TD, I was wanting to shoot the dumbass.



3) Where has Witten been? I love Witten, but he hasn't really been there so far this year. With T.O. gone, he should be dominating, he was when he was there...but I haven't seen much of him with the big plays this year like he should be.

Romo had a good game, 300 yards and 2 TD's, thats all I care about, he is my fantasy QB and he has not played up to his potential until now.


Adams makes tons of penalties, but he is still a great blocker.

You answered your own question there. T.O. being gone makes it a lot easier for people to defend Dallas. Their WR's suck, unless they're playing the Chefs of course.

Witten has been double covered, and left in to protect even more now. That has hurt his overall production, but dang he's still getting it done. Listening to the game on the drive to work the Dallas announcers were saying that the only player who had came to play at that point time appeared to be Witten.

Flozell is on the down side of his career, and should be moved to the right side IMO. He is 90% deaf in his right ear, which sure doesn't help with his false starts at LT.

Singletary needs to get his ass out of there.

Ive never seen a play as stupid as the one he had. INT then showboat after five yards and get stripped?

CUT him now. there is no excuse, he should never play another down as a 49er

Maybe Singletary will just send him to the locker room and then drop trow in front of him when the games over and make him think about it. Seemed to work last year......

All those things make me angry too R13. But I'm actually the madder that Dallas won than anything haha. I wanted Dallas to lose...Phillips to get fired...Garrett promoted to interim and has 10+ games to coach...He gets fired after the season.

These coaches are terrible. Dallas is terrible this year. They haven't beaten anybody who has done anything. Maybe the adversity will make them better (ie Giants year before last, Steelers last year) and I hope so. If not, they will just suck and Phillips/Garrett will be gone.

Bill Parcells has to be the GREATEST organizer of talent there is. it has been a downward spiral since the got rid of Coach and kept "the player"

Exactly. They just aren't good this year. Time to make some changes.

And Parcells is great. Just look at what Miami is doing. Somebody on ESPN today was repeating what Parcells said about Henne, and they said something like "...and this is coming from Parcells who has forgotten more football since last night than most us will ever know".

Panthers won a game, to give them some credit, both losses are to 5-0 teams.

I forgot about the Panthers. They were winless when Dallas played them though.

Garrett is the most overrated assistant in the NFL, I've never seen him properly utilize the talent around him.
Phillips is a great defensive mind, no doubting that; he simply is not HC material.
He would make a great DC for Dallas.
I'm sure Jerruh still has some billions, Cowgirls fans need to offer Cowher or Dungy $100 million/year. If Cowher took over, they could win 9 games, but they could resurrect Knute Rockne and implant him with Lombardi's DNA and they still wont make the playoffs.
They cant beat NYG or PHI.

Garrett actually looked good his first year I thought. After that, he just has done some stupid stuff like this year on the two or three yard line and throwing it three times in a row. He'll run Barber, Felix, Choice or just whoever to death in one half then turn around in teh second half and barely run it all. There is no identity to anything he does. I'm afraid Jerruh will give him the job after this season though if Garrett doesn't get to be the interim coach for awhile. That scares me.

Out of Cowher, Dungy, Shanahan, Gruden, Holmgren I've got my money on Shanahan coming to Dallas. I'd rather have Cowher, but just believe it will be Shanahan.

The best thing for Dallas is for Jerruh to let Stephen take over. Stephen has already said he has the same passion and fire to win like his dad does, but that he doesn't think an owner can objectively look at the football side of things when it comes to personel and what not. He says he will definitely hire a GM. If Jerruh would do that and still be willing to spend the money and everything he does, Dallas would be dangerous. Instead, I've had to settle for 13 years without a playoff victory. Ughhh...
