I hate Florida..........

I hate Florida, I hate hearing about Tim Tebow, they should go ahead and give them the trophy and give him the heisman so he can go pro and become the second biggest flop of all time. He is a good kid, and a great college quarterback, but i dont see him doing crap in the NFL. The first time he tries to run over Ray Lewis he is going to have a wake up call.

But seriously, the refs helped arkansas give that game away. A player defending himself gets an unnecessary roughness call? that was the biggest load of **** ive ever seen. then there was the pass interference call that was a joke, and the NO call on the florida player...................... i hate florida

They definitely got some help from the refs today, that is for sure. Arkansas did miss two field goals though, so they still could have won it. Can't blame the refs for that one.

Tebow might not be a bust in the nfl. Depends on when he is drafted and at what position, and IMO he won't even sniff the top fifteen.

Yeah i said HELPED arkansas give it away. who isnt tired of hearing about this team and this kid though? no doubt he is the best college quarterback in the past 20 years, possibly ever but im not old enough to speculate on that as seen today though, he gets a lot of help

They win, they aren't some overrated team that gets hyped up and doesn't deliver, they win. Of course it gets on my nerves sometimes and of course ESPN is going to take it too far, but they are a **** good football team and have been. Don't like them, beat them, they will be dethroned like USC was...and we'll have the same complaints about the next team.



No matter how bad it gets with the talk of them, I will pull for them over any Vols team that gets on that field. We all have the team(s) we just hate.

I seldom watch football anymore. Turned this game on right before the long Arkansas Td pass in the 4th quarter, turned it back off after the two obvious bad calls, didn't even check to see who won, all I needed to see were the two calls, back to not watching football.

The personal foul call was terrible. I had just been home a little while and had started to watch it when that happened.

I like Teebow. But I am tired of hearing about his speach. I am tired of hearing about him. It isn't even his fault. The press is ruining him for me.

I agree 100%, I like Tebow but ESPN is killing it for me.

I also hate Florida but Tebow is somebody that I would want my 7 year old son to have as a hero. Tebow is someone who wears his faith on his shirt sleeve,someone who respectful of himself and the others around him, and understands there is no "I" in team. I don't recall him sucker punching a player on the field,or partying or any other disorderly conduct. I know it seems he is just "to nice" but in this day and time of the modern athlete, I guess its just unusual to have someone like Tebow. We all know he is not the prototypical NFL qb. but I think someone will take that chance of having a good athlete with good moral character on their team.

I cant disagree with that too much at all. I think Jacksonville will take the chance just to try and boost attendance. I don't think he will make it as a NFL QB because he still make some pretty rough decisions when forced to stay in the pocket, and who knows if he can take a snap and make a 3-5 step drop while reading a D. Great character/leader/person though.

yeah never said i didnt like tim tebow, or that he wasnt the ideal model athlete, just that i am absolutely tired of hearing about everything he does. "tebow dropped a rainbow colored deuce today, must be a sign of a 300 yard passing 9800 yard rushing 17 TD performance coming up, *kneel * slobber ***love

do not get me wrong i like hearing about the positives in sports and this guy could be looked at as a hero to the christian community or any fan of sports.... he is one of the few class acts left in this poor pitiful little world, but wow you cant put it on a sports channel without hearing about how great he played even if its the worst performance of his career. probably would help a little if he played for anyone other than florida : D

That is a funny reply but I understand what you mean. I think they do over do it on the sports channels. I am sure there are more athletes that are like him (BYU most of them do missionaries) but he plays in the SEC and its Florida. The other conferences just can't get the love from the media.

I didnt think the PI call in the end zone with Thompson was a bad call, there was contact and the DB was late getting his head around

As much as it gets on my nerves when the sports channels overdo it on a player, we're the reason why. If it wasn't for people like most of us, the kind who get on a sports message board and discuss nearly everything, there wouldn't be sports talk radio, sports channels, etc. Now they do run it into the ground, then further when they latch on to someone, but we all know its about ratings and so far, a player like Tebow delivers. You have to latch on to someone like him, the kind of player they can tell stories about, send reporters to cover, etc and they don't disappear in week 3 and become after thoughts.
