Your version of "pretty dang good", is pretty dang low. Especially when you're talking about the #1 running qb prospect that year when he came out and a 5* kid. He didn't hit 100 yds passing in 2 games this year, didn't hit 200 in 10, threw no td's in 5 games this year, and completed less than 50% in 3 games this year. A 5* kid that highly rated should be more reliable. I'm not saying he didn't have good games. He played well against Duke, UT, and decent in a couple others. He'll then have a 9-20 91 yard day, a 4-9 98 yard day, throw 2 picks against GT in one of the biggest games of his season. If he could complete around 55-60%, average around 200 yds a game next year, and be 2/1 in td/int ratio that'd be a good year. Up to this point, he's been a bust. 9 out of 10 5* kids should be able to come in and make an impact from day 1. He'll be a SR next year. Crompton was the #2 qb coming out behind Sanchez and just because he threw for a bunch of TD's this year and played pretty well in all but about 3-4 games, he's still the worst starting qb I've seen play for UT in 30 years. He was a bust.
