#19 Clemson defeats #13 UNC 83-64
ACC race is wide open, UVA is in first place at 2-0!
Worse game I've seen UNC play in years, they were awful tonight. 25 ****ing turnovers? 3 of 12 from the 3 point line? No starter went into double figures, that's disgusting. Like I said, worse game I've seen them play in years, Roy should have left those 5 freshman he sub in...Strickland = 17 points. Makes me sick, Clemson will go down when they come to Chapel Hill though, no way they play this bad...Roy will make them pay for this one in practice.
UNC always struggles at Clemson too.
Roy taking out all the starters was cool, glad to see he isnt above giving a good rant.
UVA is 2-0, and nobody can score like Landesberg
NC State is undefeated in ACC play too, right?
no, NCSU is 1-2
the ACC doesn't have a sure-fire final four contender at this point, but what they do have is all 12 teams who are, at worst, average at the bottom and pretty good at the top
the league's worst team, NCSU, is one 3/4 court buzzer beater from being 13-4 with a win over UF
right now, I'd rate them like this
1) UNC/Duke
2) UNC/Duke
3) Wake Forest
4) Clemson
5) VT/MD
6) VT/MD
7) GT/FSU/UVA
8) GT/FSU/UVA
9) GT/FSU/UVA
10) Miami
11) BC
12) NC State
maybe throw Miami in the 7/8/9 mix, and maybe group Wake and Clemson
I had GT winning the conf. early on...but they haven't done anything to date, theyll need to play themselves into the tourney now with voctories over the top 4 or 5 teams in the conference
so GT beats Duke, but Maryland and VT are better? i dont agree at all
UGA beat GT...UVA beat GT
then losses to Dayton on a neutral court and FSU on their home floor
they're 1-2 in the conference
UGA has been playing much improved ball here lately though. They gave UK all they wanted last week.
haha no it wasnt R13
it was some poster who doest post as much, but i cant remember the name
True, but they appear to be improving every week. Its not really a big thing to be first or last in the SEC right now when you've only played 1 or 2 games.
im with stripes, fox has really turned UGA around
beating GT, and giving UK a dandy is a sign of a good team.
they beat GT at home, where GT has not won since like 72
I suppose you meant that UGA hasn't won there since 72
UGA is improving, but there are dozens of teams that are improving that are still considered bad losses...and when discussing GT's resume at the end of the conf tourney's, UGA will be discussed as a bad loss...they're a long way from an NCAA team, and probably not an NIT team even...unless they reprise their SEC tourney run from the past and make bubble teams everywhere lose their lunch
Mark Fox is the right man for the job there, thank goodness they didn't go after Bob Knight like some suggested they do
sorry, I was lost...you said "they beat GT at home" and I took that to mean GT was home
