[Note: This is a reboot of Pro Wrestling NOVA. I'm focusing more on the drama/angles than the fight itself.]

[The camera pans from right to left first showing the wrestlers then Helen Hunt, who is wearing the black and white stripes of the NOVA referees. She's holding a meeting in the back with the ten participants of the tournament: Alessandra Torresani, Hayden Panettiere, Hayley Williams, Kristen Bell, Kirsten Storms, Lacey Chabert, Larisa Oleynik, Lindsey Shaw, Renee O'Connor, and Renee Olstead.]

Helen Hunt: Okay ladies, First off, welcome to NOVA. I'm glad you all participated. We've got great plans for each and every one of you. We've called you here because we wanted to let you know that you have all been hand picked to participate in the NOVA World Championship tournament by the PTB. This will be a round robin format so you'll be divided up into two groups. (Renee O'Connor raises her hand.) Yes?

Renee O'Connor: PTB?

Hunt: The Powers That Be.

O'Connor: Oh.

Hunt: Like I said, you will be divided up into two groups...(O'Connor raises her hand again)...Yes?

O'Connor: What's the Powers That Be?

Hunt: The people that run this company. Now, like I was saying you will be divided up into two groups of five.

O'Connor: You mean like the CEOs or something?

Hunt: (Getting annoyed) Yes. May I continue?

O'Connor: (annoyed at her tone) You don't have to be so mean!

Hunt: This will be a round robin format so you will be facing everyone in your group once then...

O'Connor: Who are they?

Hunt: If you'll give a chance, I'll tell you who's in who's group.

O'Connor: No, I mean who's the PT...CE...OB...GYN thingy peoples.

Lacey Chabert: Would you just shut up?

O'Connor: Hey, I'm just asking!

Hayden Panettiere: Why don't you shut up?

Hunt: Ladies!

Kristen Bell: You shut up or I'm gonna come over there, and kick your ass!

Panettiere: Go ahead! I dare ya!

O'Connor: Yeah, go ahead! She dares ya! (Panettiere glares at O'Connor) What?

Hunt: Shush! All of you!

[The bickering continues, and everybody gets into each other's faces. There's even a little shoving going on.]

Hunt: QUIET!

[Of course, nobody listens. Finally, Helen just gives up, and walks out. The camera cuts to the broadcast table with Tony Schiavone, Jules Asner, and Bruce Campbell.]

Tony Schiavone: Hello everyone, and welcome to NOVA. I'm Tony Schiavone alongside here with Bruce Campbell and the very lovely Jules Asner.

Jules Asner: Thanks, Tony.

Bruce Campbell: Don't get too fiesty there, Tony. She's got her lawyers on speed dial!

Tony: You should know.

[Jules snarls at Bruce.]

Bruce: Believe me, I do!

Tony: We have an action packed lineup tonight, and to start things off let's go right down to the ring for six-woman tag action.

Bruce: Hey, Tony, aren't you supposed to be calling a Gwenett game or something?

[Camera to ring where the six women are already their in separate corners. The ring announcer makes her introductions.]

[Jules Asner is backstage in front of the NOVA logo backdrop with Hayley Williams and the members of Paramore.]

Jules: First of all, Hayley, congratulations on being selected to participate in the world championship tournament. Your thoughts on being in the tournament and the process.

Hayley Williams: By process, I believe you mean the way the PTB selected me?

Jules: Yes.

Williams: You know, it's an honor just to be here but when you do something that gets the eye of people like the PTB, you know you're doing something right. I have my band here not because I need them but because they have the confidence in me to be at my side, and they want to see me in action. I....

Voice in background: BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!

[Gellar, Oleynik, and Snow enter the picture. Gellar still has the chair in hand, and is sweating profusely.]

Gellar: Yeah, you're lucky you've got your band here or this chair would be shoved up your ass so far, you'd just have to squat to sit.

Williams: Watch it!

Band member 1: Calm down, Hayley.

Band member 2: C'mon. Let's go.

[Williams backs away reluctantly.]

Gellar: Yeah, that's right! Go, you pansies.

Jules: Sarah, this is not your time.

Gellar: My time? It's always my time! And if you ain't got time for me, you better make time! Get used to that!

Jules: Please! What was that anyway? Why'd you have to do that to Scarlett?

Gellar: Nobody cares about that plastic enhanced, bleach blonde piece of crap anyway.

Brittany Snow: (grabs the end of her hair and shows it to Jules) Natural.

Gellar: They aren't here to see her. They're here to see us! And we did that because that was a statement! That was a statement to everyone in NOVA. You know, there are three things that I don't like. One: I don't like stupid people...which for one, you are. Two: I don't like ugly people which, again, you are. And most importantly, I don't like being ignored!

Jules: But how are you being ignored?

Gellar: Oh...my...God.....Becky! Are you really that much of an idiot? I suppose you are. The PTB, you buffoon! Let me ask you something. Did you see me or Brittany in that meeting earlier? Let me answer that for you since you're too much of a dope to figure that one out. No, you didn't. You only saw Larisa there. And why is that you ask? (Gellar pauses.) Well? Ask!

Jules: Okay, and why is...

Gellar: Because they are afraid of us! They know that we will dominate this pathetic organization. They know that we would walk away with every stinking title, and they don't want that!
Jules: But Larisa does have a chance at winning the title...

Larisa Oleynik: Chance? Let me tell you something. I don't have a chance. (Brittany Snow starts stroking on Jules' hair. Jules tries to swat her away but she ignores her.) I have a destiny. Sarah's right, that was a statement sent out to all of NOVA. That's what we're going to do to each and every one of those girls in the back. Some people care about wins and losses. You see, we don't. We already know we're the best. What we're just missing is the proof. If this PTB, or whatever you call them, were smart, then they would just hand us the belt so we wouldn't have to hurt any of these pretty little girls in the back.

Jules: Brittany?

Gellar: I will NOT be ignored!

[Gellar leaves the screen in a huff. Larisa threatens to punch Jules which causes her to flinch before she takes off, and Brittany just stands behind Jules still stroking her hair.]

Jules: Back to you, Tony.

(Jules tries to swat her away again but is responded by a ?how dare you? look from Brittany. The camera goes back to the announce table with Tony and Bruce.)

Tony: What a disgusting act of cowardice!

Bruce: That, Tony, that was a statement! That was planned right from the start! That was organized! That was a message to all of NOVA ?We are the best. Do NOT mess with us!?

Tony: Certainly, that will send shock waves throughout NOVA headquarters. I don't think that's how the PTB wanted to start things off here, and I certainly don't doubt there will be some repercussions later on for this.

Bruce: After seeing that, I can see Larisa's gonna win that tourney, I'll tell ya. You can't be a champion without a mean streak, and that shows she has no fear of any one or any consequences!

Tony: Once again here are the rules for the round robin tournament: Two groups with five wrestlers each. A win gives 2 points, a draw gives 1, and nothing for a loss. The winner of each group will compete in a 30 minute Ironwoman match to determine the first ever NOVA World Champion. Here are the groupings:

Bruce: Five G's. Just don't tell Renee! Okay?

Tony: Sure, I wouldn't tell anyone anything that's on live tv.

Bruce: Good.

[The ring announcer makes the introductions.]

Also, we have received word that the PTB WILL be disciplining Sarah, Larisa and Brittany for their actions tonight, and what that is will be announced at our next NOVA event.

Bruce: Discipline them for what? They didn't do anything wrong. Who knows what Scarlett said to them. She probably got what she deserved.

Tony: Would you stop! That was a blatant attack with the intent to injure her!

Take it away, Bruce.

Bruce: Thank you, Tony. Renee! Hey, it's good to see ya again! Congratulations on your victory.

Renee O'Connor: (huffing) Thanks Bruce baby, but I couldn't have done it without all these roc-ette's out here! (Points to the fans.) Like that, huh? Made it up myself. You know, Lindsey's a great fighter and all. She's going to do well but unfortunately she ended up in the same grouping as me, and like her, everyone's gonna fall 1, 2, 3! (Spinning to the crowd) AIN'T THAT RIGHT!

Bruce: Well, good luck in the tournament, Renee. And again it's good to see you...

Renee: Whoa! Hold on a second, there, Tex. We ain't done yet. I...I heard you've recently developed a little bit of psychic abilities...

Tony: Ut oh.

Renee: ...a little clairvoyance, a bit of a glimpse into the future if you will...you've become a regular Diana Ross haven't you?

Bruce: Diana?

Tony: I think she means Dionne Warwick.

Renee: (With a stern look) I think you know what I'm talking about.

Bruce: Uhhhh....

Renee: C'mon now, Bruce. We've been friends for a long time, right? Gaze into that crystal ball once more and tell me what you see?

Bruce: I see....I see....uhh...YOU! You wearing the gold...and me forgetting you were invited to the tournament!

Tony: What a coward!

Renee: That's right Brucey! Tell it like you want me to believe it!

[Renee O'Connor leaves the ring with Bruce wiping the sweat off his brow. Cut to a promo introducing NOVA and the finals of the world championship tournament.]

Tony: Great job, Bruce.

Bruce: Yeah, I'm definitely gonna get my ass kicked later on.

Tony: You'd probably enjoy it way too much.

Bruce: Not when I'm five grand lighter in the pocket!

Jules: Alessandra, tonight you'll go up against another rising star such as yourself in Hayley Williams. Your thoughts on tonight's match?

Torresani: Jules, I don't care who it is that I have to go through to get to the NOVA world title. That is what I am here for. I'm not here to make a name for myself. That's already done. I have the upmost respect for Hayley but believe me, she is not going to stand in my way in my way to get that gold. After all, that's what it is all about, right? It's not about fame. It's not about fortune. It's about being the best, and I am here because I AM the best. They chose me, not Jennifer Love Hewitt, not Scarlett Johansson, not Britney Spears - sorry, I mean Brittany Snow, it's kinda hard to not mix those two up, you know - and especially not that punk Sarah...Michelle...Gellar. They chose me: Alessandra Torresani, your future world champion.

Jules: Good luck to you, Alessandra.

Torresani: Thanks, Jules.

[Alessandra Torresani walks off and heads towards the ring.]

Jules: Certainly, with that type of intensity, she's got to be one of the favorites to win this one. Back to you Tony.

Bruce: Favorites? I don't think so. You know who I think is going to win?

Tony: Let me guess. Is it Larisa or Renee?

Bruce: I don't know yet. I'm trying to figure out if five grand is worth rooting for Larisa for or...

Tony: Or what?

Bruce: Oh man...Renee's gonna kick my ass for this, isn't she?

Tony: I wouldn't blame her.

Bruce: Hey Tony, can you walk me to the car tonight?

Tony: (Sighing) Only you.

Sarah Michelle Gellar: Oh, hey Brit. (Concerned) What's up?

Brittany Snow: Sarah, we got a problem.

Sarah: (Unconcerned) Yeah, what is it?

Brittany: We've got a match tonight.

Sarah: Yeah, so?

Brittany: You don't understand. It's against each other.

Sarah: (Sarah hears the crowd cheer, and looks up. Now she's concerned again) What do mean against each other?

Brittany: The PTB! They put us in a match against each other!

Sarah: (Going back to check the laces on her boots.) You're crazy!

Brittany: Apparently it's some sort of punishment they're dealing us.

Sarah: Yeah.

(Sarah turns around to see Amanda Bynes walking up. The crowd roars their approval which Sarah hears in the background. She looks really annoyed at them now. Lea scampers away while Sarah's distracted just to make sure that's Amanda's in between them so Sarah doesn't go ballistic on her.)

Amanda Bynes: There ya are, ol' buddy! (Amanda put her arm around Sarah's shoulder.) Just trying to find you.

Sarah: (Swatting away Amanda's arm) Get your hands off me!

Amanda: Whoa! That's no way to treat your partner!

[The camera cuts to a locker room door that is partially open. Out comes two masked women with a hint of blonde hair peeking from underneath. They see the cameraman approaching and take off in the opposite direction. The cameraman opens the door to reveal Kristen Bell, who's face is covered in blood.]

Voice: Hey! Someone gets some help over here!

[Several officials and medical personel come in to check on Kristen.]

Tony Schiavone: Oh, man. This is bad.

Bruce Campbell: I can't say that I'm a big fan of hers but...

Tony: Hello, everyone, and welcome to NOVA. We do wish we could start off on a better note. Kristen Bell scheduled to take on Kirsten Storms later on tonight in the world championship tournament has been brutally attacked by two masked women.

Bruce: Hey, you can't prove they did it. It may not have even been an attack. She probably just slipped and bumped her head. They were probably going to try to find some help.

Tony: Sure, then why were they wearing masks?

Bruce: Maybe those were some sort of new mud masks things. Probably something to do with the skin. You know. To look good. Like me!

Tony: I highly doubt that.

Bruce; You saying that I don't look good?

Tony: Oh, boy. And if that wasn't enough...

[Sarah Michelle Gellar makes her way down to the ring. She stops to yell at the fans at ringside along the way.]

Bruce: She's not wearing a mask so I don't think she did it. But she probably uses one. Look how smooth her skin is.

Tony: Knowing her, she probably sent Snow and Oleynik to do the dirty work for her.

Bruce: Hey, that's slander! You ain't got no proof she's even involved!

Tony: Well, whoever did will likely feel the wrath of the PTB.

Bruce: Just like how whoever the PTB is cheated Oleynik out of her match by putting Alexis Bledel in charge last time?

Tony: That's right!

Bruce: That would be a crime too. Say, did you ever find out who the PTB is anyway, Tony?

Tony: I still don't know.

Bruce: And you call yourself a journalist?

Tony: No, I don't, actually. I'm just the play-by-play.

[Gellar gets in the ring and calls for a mic.]

Gellar: Sit down and shut up! I'm not in the mood for these games. I understand that Amanda Bynes is not here yet because I know she's too chicken to face me so I'm challenging any piece of trash in the back to come out here and fight me!

[Gellar tosses the mic aside where it is gathered by a ringside attendant. She gets into a ready stance, and beckens for someone to accept her challenge.]

Tony: Gellar's made the challenge!

Bruce: But who's it going to be? She looks pissed, and has every right to be!

Bruce: What?

Tony: Don't know if that's a good idea or not. Kristen Bell seems to be headed this way for her match against Kirsten Storms.

Bruce: There are times when you need to just say ?hey, not tonight.?

[Kirsten Storms is in the ring with a microphone.]

Kirsten Storms: Hey, Kristen. I heard what happened to you earlier. I just want to say that I'm not into cheap victories, and as much as I want to get the win here tonight, I just don't want to get it in this way. So Kristen, if you want to call this thing off right now I'd understand. We can always do this match later on. Now that doesn't mean that I'm going to cheat everybody out of a match so if anybody in the back wants to come out and take Kristen's place, come on out.

Tony: Well, interesting turn of events here. Kirsten Storms is willing to postpone the tournament match and issues a challenge...

Bruce: Hang on there, Tony.

[Kristen Bell makes her way out to the ring.]

Tony: I was hoping Kristen would take that advice but...

Bruce: She ain't the brightest. You should know that. Even before she got knocked silly.

Storms: Hey, Kristen, we don't have to do this!

Bell: (Off mic) You did this to me!

Storms: What the hell are you talking about?

[Bell gets into the ring and starts to go after Storms but the referee steps in between them.]

Storms: Listen, if you want me to kick your ass right now, don't think I still won't do it!

[Bell charges again but the referee forces her back.]

Tony: And I guess this match will happen.

Now I have nothing against either one of those two girls on a personal level but once we step into that ring, if you're not on my side, you're against me. We may even go out on parties later tonight, I don't care. This is a sport. This is a violent sport granted, but it is a sport. Hell, I may even go ask Sarah or Amanda if they want to go drinking tonight, now that you mention it. Do you think I care?

Jules: Hayley, so far you have not done well in the tournament as a singles competitor. Do you think you'll get things on track with a tag team win tonight?

Dushku: What kind of question is that?

Williams: It's okay. I can tell this woman is asking the questions because she can't do the fighting. Yes, so far, it's sucked but I'm not about to give up just yet. Do you think I gave up when the first song I wrote sucked? No, I kept on working! If it wasn't for my dedication I wouldn't be standing here right now talking to you. I have a whole career ahead of me. Some like Eliza here, have been doing this for years. It's an honor to just be selected for this tournament, and there is nothing I will not take away with it even if I don't win the tournament. I've gained the knowledge, experience, and most importantly, the respect of the girls backstage.

Jules: Well, good luck with the tournament and to both of you.

[As soon as Eliza and Hayley walk off camera, Larisa meets up with Jules.

Oleynik: You wanted to see me?

Jules: Yes, I think you might want to read this.

Olstead: We've worked so hard to get where we are. This is what Renee O'Connor is telling her: Don't give up! Keep trying! Your time is coming! Believe me, I've heard the same thing before. This is why I'm proud to have her as a mentor! And I can tell you right now, we have not seen the last of Alessandra Torresani.

[Alexis Bledel takes the collar off of Hayley Williams, and hands her the dog food. Hayley pops the cap, and holds it up like a trophy.]

Bruce: That's disgusting! I can smell that all the way over here.

[Hayley Williams pours the dog food into the bowl. Alexis Bledel drags Larisa Oleynik around the ring by the dog collar. She grabs Larisa by the hair and shoves her face into the dog food.]

Bruce: Oh no! Her breath is going to stink for a week!

[Sarah Michelle Gellar and Brittany Snow run down to the ring.]

Tony: It's Sarah Michelle Gellar and Brittany Snow!

Bruce: Thank God!

Tony: Brittany Snow just decked the referee. She's got the key to the cage!

[Brittany Snow takes the key from the referee and opens the cage. Sarah attacks Alexis Bledel from behind. Brittany attacks Hayley from behind. Larisa Oleynik starts to slowly crawl through the door. Her face is covered in blood and dog food.]

Bruce: Oh! Poor Larisa!

[The crowd starts to erupt. The camera cuts to the entrance ramp.]

Tony: It's Eliza Dushku! She's finally had enough!

[Eliza Dushku enters the cage, and pulls Brittany Snow off of Hayley Williams.]

Tony: Thank God for Eliza Dushku! Finally some sense...

[Eliza Dushku starts to attack Hayley Williams.]

Tony: NO! NO! NO! That traitor!

[Sarah Michelle Gellar throws Alexis Bledel into the cage. Alexis Bledel is busted wide open.]

Tony: Somebody gets some security out here!

[The crowd erupts once more.]

Bruce: What now?

Tony: It's Scarlett Johansson! She's back! She's back!

Bruce: I thought she couldn't even walk!

[Scarlett Johansson runs down to the ring. Her knee is still heavily bandaged and padded causing her still show a limp.]
