OK - I know we did this as a group a while back, but let's see if there is any change in opinion.
I also can look into other Chat alternatives if people are having issues connecting to the current solution. I know Peeker is one of them.

I like it..but seeing the time it is..and If I got to work I most likely will not be joining in..but I am there if I can, I like it since it takes ages for you slow ppl to reply to a topic [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I am going to leave this up through the weekend and then see what the poll says - and just go with that [img]wink.gif[/img]
I managed to get the chat working. It turns out that I didn't have Java on my PC, and had to download it before it'd work. Of course, now that it's working, I never see anyone in there when I go in.
But you may want to look into other programs for those who are having problems that aren't so easily fixable.
As cool as it is, i just don't like using it that much, but i do drop in every now and then when i know the others are going to be one.
Just leave it as is and it's there for when members wanna use it or we wanna setup a special board chat or something.
I gots the Java but the damn thing still don't work for me...

It will be usefull, but don't know if possible, to have a flash warning if chat is active and people are using it. Unless we keep on advicing when it's the next meeting [img]wink.gif[/img]

Just test it the new chat, don't like it. We need something else.....

well, it works for me, at least.
the colours aren't great though.
but that's not a big issue for me.
chats cool some times...truthfully didn't even know this place had one. anyway there are plenty of other chat places out there if everybody can't access this one. could always set up a yahoo or MSN group just for the chatroom.
I think that regardless of whether it's used often or not, we should have some sort of chat program function here for the sake of it being there, unless it's taking up important space or something, which Im guessing it doesn't
It's better to have it there when people want to have a spur-of-themoment group chat or something, rather than everyone wishing there was one there
The idea of another chat program might be good, and resolve the probelms some people might be having..so, sounds good to me

I voted to keep it as is but I'm ok with using another format as long as it's Mac compatible.
