Cwood is in the 40's which is down alittle from the last few years but no as many 1st year seniors this year so usable numbers are probably about the same
Good number counts in most of the CD from what I have heard so far. TS is around 50. Coeburn and RC both at 44. Castlewood has 28 I think.
28 kids for Castlewood?? That's sad. We had over 40 kids come out every year when I played. 28 kids sounds like St. Paul or Ervinton numbers.Quote:

Come on people, really?????? Norton/Coeburn, not exactly the hottest series over the last decade. I know it's football season but come on....
Serious question though cause I can't remember, when was the last time Coeburn beat Norton, was it back during the down years early in the decade. I know we had a couple of 3-7 years in there so it had to happen there.
But just for numbers sake since I love numbers, since 2004 the series edge goes to Burton with a score differential of 264-22.
Let's please keep it on topic, numbers and what everyone expects to have come opening night.
With Norton the numbers are around normal, 40 or so kids from what I observed on Wednesday.Quote:

Parents, garbage cans, dummies (not parents, agility dummies), cones, etc. Special teams are real tought when it is that way. It seems like most schools have switched from 2 a days over the years to doing a evening practice instead.
I know Burton and Pound did two-a-days this week. JJK did evening practice. Thats the only schools im sure of.
Appy just finished up 2 a days today and like i said they have about 48 total kids and its really getting exciting for dawg fans up here!
