Apparently per facebook, Jerry Wharton had to make an emergency landing for fuel. That is from facebook.
saw the plane go over morgan mcclure, didnt look like anything was wrong with it. had to be the same bi-plane, or else somebody else felt like flying at 150 feet over our heads for no reason :D
It's down in front of K-Mart on the 4-lane. I was coming southbound on 23 and VDOT had that part of the 4-lane blocked off so you had to go down behind K-Mart. I thought it was a wreck.

If a few more hours had passed without substantiation I'm sure it would have turned into Air Force One shot down on US 23 LOL
might be because the board was down a few hours yesterday???????

nah, one of those new drone planes that iran has was spotted over morgan mcclure yesterday, i shot it down with my brititsh .303 red baron style, it was being controlled by osama bin laden from a cave in abu ghabi (he is hiding there trust me) and i stole the radio receiver and talked to him and told him that iw as coming. he said thats cool ill be waiting in my cave yo LOL WTF ROFLMAO TTYL TYM TYVM <------ thats all of those i know.
I would have hated to have been in a car in front of the plane as it was landing. Could you imagine seeing something like that coming at you in your rear view mirror.
I'm not sure which way it landed but it could have been coming head on with a car. I'd assume the pilot chose the lane with less to no traffic to set it down.
He landed going in the right direction in the southbound lane.

Because for 4 or 5 hours Saturday there were no new post. when I tried to read a topic and click on it it came back as a 505 error of something. so I assume that No one was able to post for the same 4-5 hours.

I had one person call me to tell me about it (I was in Kingsport). They were in the KFC parking lot telling me how messed up the plane was after 'the crash' and how bad it looked. No joke. This was after I had suggested to them that it was likely an emergency landing. "oh no it's not even on the road it's up over the ditch and hill and it's really messed up"

I was acutally the first person to him after he stopped. I was with lifecare and we heard there was a plane making an emergency landing from another lifecare crew and they were following it. When I first pulled up to him and asked if he was alright he said "yeah, just ran out of gas, if you can could you call someone to bring some out to me and ill get out of here". haha just something you dont see everyday thats for sure.
