Reds @ Phillies Game 2

Reds up 1-0 after one on a Phillips home run. Must win for the Reds.

Phillies make two errors, Oswalt throws a wild pitch, and the Reds are up 2-0 going to the 3rd. Gotta keep it going, the Phillies offense is dynamite.

Phillips is owning Oswalt tonight, 2-2 with a HR.

Oswalt's breaking ball is not hitting tonight, too much of the plate.

but getting that leadoff HR was HUGE for the Reds, gets the no hitter out of their minds.

Reds need to get at least a run here, two on with 1 out, Rolen up to bat.

Awful ab by Votto. That 2-1 pitch was down the pipe and he took it.

I could not believe he took that pitch pvf, I yelled at the screen to swing.

He does not look like his normal ball crushing self so far.

Oswalt got another huge out there getting Rolen to strike out on the nasty chagne up.

and I will know acknowledge you were right on starting Volquez instead of Arroyo, they really need to win tonight and Arroyo is way more consistent.

They may not win this game but I have to give props to Dusty. He put his best defensive team on the field, that outfield defense is pretty good.

Huge inning by Bronson, he kept Utley and Howard off the plate. Keep plugging away at Oswalt.

Seeing the replay again it looks like Utley was safe at 2nd.

but the Reds should have appealed at 3rd and got Utley called out, he never touched the bag.

I thought it he looked out but it was too close to really tell. And on Utley rounding third the angle they showed was really hard to tell. It definitely didnt look like he touched at all
