and Aikman is already ragging on McNabb. He says about the bad snap that was shot like a rocket about a ft above McNabb's right shoulder "It was a good snap, McNabb just let it go right through his hands.".

Aikman is jealous of McNabb because McNabb is a lot more versatile qb than he ever was.
I don't know about that but he obviously has some personal issue with him.
Sickening that anybody would have to listen this; they don't even try to disguise their bias. It's about to reach **** Vitale level.
In other news, I still hate the 3-4 defense.
The Redskins have been out gained by over 200 yards and are only down 7-0. I'm not sure what is worse, having like 230 yards of offense and only having 7 points or allowing that many yards in a little over 15 minutes.
should be down 14 if theres a better throw on 4th down.
and 3-4>>>>4-3
Five weeks in and I never want to see the 3-4 ran in Washington again. This has been more than pathetic, it's been embarrassing.
10-0 now and it really should be somewhere around 17 or 21-0. Points are a must on this drive.
Washington's personnel makes the 3-4 not work, if they had better secondary then it may work better.
or if they would have made Albert's fat ass play NT this year, it would have been very good. I know he is out this week, but the year in general.
i like Orakpo tho, and if you go to a 4-3 he is nowhere near as effective.
Aikman and Buck talk more **** about DM. How the trade may not have been a good one, and Washington may not be set at QB past this year.
Washington OL is TERRIBLE today, GB is constantly getting pressure and sacks
I like mcnabb, he is a good leader and did things with that Eagles team that not many other QB's could have at that time. I honestly thought at the beginning of the year Washington would end up a legit playoff contender, but that O-line is absolutely pitiful.
but you make that trade and you let him go after one year?
DM is not that old
they got rid of the young guy and have no real prospects behind DM. I just dont see them letting him walk after one year with no WR's, a banged up running game and a terrible OL
if Washington had Chris Samuels still, they would be the best OL in football, he was that **** good. :p
DM is not that old, but his body is not going to take the kind of beating he is going to get. He's one scramble away from just about ending his career. He has missed big chunks of a 2-3 seasons and that normally shortens a guys career.
Also, isn't his contract up after this year? The Cardinals may be very appealing to him considering he has a home in Phoenix and would have Larry Fitz to throw to.
Somehow, still only down 10.
I could play WR for the Washington Redskins.
Somehow, only down three.
Orakpo is a beast
Yeah, but Washington is not gonna be bad enough to get one of the big QBs in the draft, and I dont even know WAS's backup. I know a lotta of the NFL rosters, but I am clueless about the Skins QB situation behind McNabb.
If the Skins finish better than 6-10, no way they get Luck, Locker or Mallett.
its not like McNabb has been terrible, tahts my whole point. He has played pretty well for a 2-2 division leader.
I have a feeling Arizona is gonna end up with Luck/Locker, they will be bad and finish bad.
Officials must hate me this week, first the umpires in game two and then that............. Can this week just end.
The one on Cooley was what I was upset about. Killed the drive.
And how many GREAT young LBs are in teh NFL right now?
Watching Orakpo and Matthews in this game, Im a Niners fan so I see Willis every week, Rivers and Malaluga in Cincy, Suggs in Baltimore, Jon Beason in Carolina (the best player nobody knows, top 4 MLB), Cushing and Ryans in Houston, etc...
The NFL is trending towards a heavy defensive league imo. Not a lot of good young quarterbacks in the league right now.
Cooooooooooollllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Rex Grossman is the backup. If McNabb goes down soon, the Skins have a great shot at Luck, Locker or Mallet. I would hope they get Locker out of that crew.
Somehow, it's tied. Another questionable call goes GB's way on that drive.
Cause you are a Dallas fan!! hahah
Locker is the worst of the three IMO
and yes, the NFL is slowly becoming a defensive league. The teams are now figuring out how to stop the west-coast/spread craze with the pass rush and very athletic safeties.
but I disagree about the no good young QB thing.
Rogers, Bradford, Romo, Mark Sanchez, Joe Flacco, etc...
I forgot about a few great young LB's.
D-Ware in Dallas (best pure pass rusher since the days of LT/Bruce Smith/Reggie White)
another pass rush demon, Dumerville in Denver
Lofa Tutupo in SEA, Karlos Dansby in Miami, David Harris in for the Jets, Rolando McClain in Oakland, etc.. I could go on for days
young great corners too
aside from Charles Woodson, all the best defensive players in the NFL are young ugys
Awful way to lose if he makes this, awful play first half, several iffy calls go against them, typical Skins game.
GB in position
no good, hits upright!
Off the post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought Tramon Williams was taking it to the house there
EDIT-
I know Crosby missed it, but **** that kid is a great kicker.
He coulda hit a 65 yarder if it was on line.
oh no Trent Williams looks hurt, and the knee got twisted bad.
he is very, very, very good. this is HUGE
Can't afford to lose Williams.
I hate the NFL overtime rules.
pvfan did you agree with the hail mary? I couldn't believe it. Now you may have lost your only decent OL. I cant believe the DB went down. Should have tried lateraling.
yeah why did he fall? He had a lane and had some blockers.
dumb call from Washington tho, why not just take a knee or run the ball, no need to take a risk like that
