I hate listening to games at homes and not knowing injury issues
At around halftime Lung said it wasn't looking good and that he came back out on crutches. Hopefully it's something minor and he will be playing next week. I heard we lost 3 lineman tonight
It didn't look good. I've heard torn achiles from someone and I heard he heard something pop. He was down a long time and carried to the sideline where he laid on the bench the rest of the half. He was carried to the locker room at halftime and came back out on crutches with his ankle heavily bandaged and iced.
I sure hope he Is ok and he gets to play next week...

I think it's the same one he hurt during the Happy Valley game and reinjured against PV. Hopefully it's just a bad sprain and he can be out there. The Daihley kid is good and I think will end up being a better QB than Tre, but he went in at PV and fumbled the snap 2-3 times and fumbled the first one tonight. That's not really on him as much as it is just inexperience. He threw the pic into double coverage tonight too. Tre isn't even Clintwood's best player, but I think he's their most important player. He knows the offense so well from starting in it since he was a freshmen till now. He's not the best passer and they rarely run him but the offense just seems to function better when he's in. Even if he does nothing but hand off.
Yeah I should have known to check the main board before coming over here. No injuries in Nora tonight.
If he's out for an extended period you can forget us sending anybody to state from the LPD. East Mont beats CW without him and JIB regardless imo.

If Meade is out I think he will be missed at Corner more than QB given that Burton will have to put the ball in the air to move the ball on the CWood D
I think his fumbling the snaps will get better with more reps behing center. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders. And as far a receiving, I have always said that passing should be complimentary to the running game, If you have that, then the passing will come around for him. I still give "Clitwood"(just noticed the spelling on another thread) a 2 touchdown margin for victory. The biggest reason for that is because P.V. did shut down J.I.B.'s offense and Clintwood ran roughshod over them(P.V.)
I would imagine that we will put the ball in the air next friday. Crowder threw for 271 and 4 scores in the first half last night, 2nd time he has thrown for over 250 in a half. Of course you have to consider the competition but either way that is impressive.
I think he is now over 1,300 this year with 17 TD and 7 INT. Pretty solid year so far. The key is going to be if our line can give him time to throw it. When he has time he can pick a D apart, if he is rushed he will try to force the ball and that could be deadly. He's just a 15 year old sophomore and tends to force it too much when hurried.
IMO, throwing the ball is our only hope regardless of who plays. We are going to have to play our best game of the year that is for sure.

The thing that impressed me about Clintwood last night was that they can burn you with so many players. Tra and Austin weren't killing us. Gavin and Vanover put a hurtin' on us.
