It's Youngs team...
I hope they blow the Chargers out of the water I hate them b i t c h e s....
I think Collins is better long term because he want screw up, Young is a far better player but there will be a game when he doesn't need to mess up and will and it always costs the Titans when he screws up.
Young is the person for the Titans. Collins realizes that fact and is more than willing to accept the fact that Young is the starter.
I don't know how you could ever question this?! If you're going one the way Collins played vs the Eagles you need to think Britt cause he was the star of that game! And if you kept up with the Titans this year you know Young has played pretty good, plus he makes CJ a better running back...
Don't get me wrong I'm glad we have Collins because hes huge for us in moments like this but like I said before its Youngs TEAM
And your point is lung? He'll never throw up 300 yards games but he finds a way to win and thats all that matters isn't it?
BTW check this out
Chris Johnson:
"But it feels like I've been earning every yard I get this year. If they want to stop me and we're still winning, it's OK by me. I'm still [No. 3] in the league in rushing. It seems like a lot of defenses would rather stop me than get a victory. Which is fine with me.''
Thats a team player
My point was to combat the falicy of this "pretty good" season he's having. That's all that matters when you're playing garbage teams in the regular season I guess. He's doing very little to find ways to win these games either. A decent run game and a stout defense and above average special teams would be mentioned before Capt. Suicide. What happens when they play better teams in the playoffs and he throws up another 13-33 63 yard 2 int 1 fumble games and they lose 33-10? If they make the playoffs.
Isn't that the same player that was *****ing about splitting carries with Lendale White before he was traded saying he didn't want to be part a 1-2 running game? The same retard who was making retarded twitter comments last year about not getting the MVP and wanting his trophy brought to him.
**** you're just a hateful person aren't ya? haha, but Cj is pretty d a m n good and anyone that watches football would tell you that. As for Young we'll see what happens but having CJ makes him a better football player. Teams come in focus to stop cj by putting 8 or 9 in the box making Youngs job that much easier throwing the ball.
I love you Titans hate though? BTW who do you pull for?
I'm not sure how I'm hateful because I disagree with you. Johnson is very good. I'm not saying he's not. You were saying he's some great team player when he's *****ed about carries and threatened to hold out and not play.
This right here is you contradicting yourself again....
"As for Young we'll see what happens but having CJ makes him a better football player. Teams come in focus to stop cj by putting 8 or 9 in the box making Youngs job that much easier throwing the ball."
The ******* is still only averaging 106 yards a game with that going on and that's pretty good? Rookie Sam Bradford has more than 2x's the passing yards Young has and he has a back just as good as Johnson. If the Titans had a half decent QB like Fitzpatrick in Buffalo they'd be twice the team they are with Young. Fitzpatrick has played 2 less games than Young and has more than 200 yards and 4 more td's than Young.
Ok I know I goof a lot on here but how is that?
Cj does make Young's job easier. Teams come in putting 8 or 9 people in the box cause of CJ, which makes things easier for Young
Try to follow me here..... having Johnson makes any qb's job TONS EASIER, he's still only passing for 106 yards a game. If Manning, Brady, hell anyone had a run game as good as the Titans had they'd be able to pass for 400 yards a week without trying. Yet you're saying he's having a "pretty good" year when he's barely eeking out 100 yards passing a game. Passing for 124 yards a game is not a good year for any starting NFL qb after the year 1930.
Ah your a stat guy.... Well as long as he helps the team get W's I don't care how many yards he throws for. His numbers will go up I believe, but this team as a whole is pretty good so its not all on Vince
No I'm a results guy. If he was throwing for 200 yards a game (still low for an NFL qb) it'd be different. He's not helping anybody win right now. They're winning in spite of him. What he did last year against Arizona is helping the team win. He's not doing anything to help them win. If they had a decent qb they'd have a chance to be the best team in the NFL. You don't get better in the NFL as the season goes on. Defenses get better and your stats go down. So his numbers aren't going to go up. That doesn't mean that one week he won't throw for 300+ yards because Britt catches a long pass or Johnson breaks a long run on a screen. The Titans will be an afterthought and more a joke than a contender until they can get something consistent from a QB.
I guess we'll see... This team is better then you give them credit for Lung...
but they would be ****ed near unbeatable with anyone BUT young in there. he is freaking horrible. every team that plays them knows if they shut down CJ that they pretty much win the game. You cant rely on somebody that threatens to kill themself every time they have a bad game, the dude needs to be benched. Hell i could walk on that team and learn the offense and do better than he does.
D A M N you haters are insane, this is Youngs time lets see what happen the rest of the way
Ok then let me make this easier for the both of us! Young is better then what you give him credit for! I know he hasn't threw for a lot of yards but he has 7 TD and 2 picks his qb rating is 98 something. He's playing well but he's only played in 5 and a half games this year. Everyone that talks about him on TV and says he'll never be a huge stat guy but he finds a way to win!
But I say Tennessee is going to keep opening it up more. They gotta help CJ out
No. He's not. The game he had against Arizona was what he should be. Be a leader, make plays, don't be an embarrassment. You're a fan boy and he can do no wrong. The guy's a joke as an NFL qb. He has the talent and ability. He doesn't have the intelligence, worth ethic, or will to do it.
i hate to agree with Timmay, but I do think VY is better than people give him credit for. Until now with the emergence of Kenny Britt, they had maybe the worst WR corp in the NFL. But VY was still able to make plays and put points on the board.
He should not be expected to be a 300 yards a game passer, but he has def. picked up more of the offense and is now somewhat able to make the right read and not throw as many picks.
VY is not a top 10 QB, or even a top 15, but he is a winner and has that mojo.
that mojo makes up so much for me, a QB that can will a team to win means so much for a team
The WR comments are horse****. Collins did more than VY has with the same receivers. It's strange when the "emergence of Kenny Britt" happened too. Right when Collins comes in and VY goes out. Send that same group of WR's to Indy and 2 of them are over 1000 yards. I'm not expecting him to be a 300 yard a game passer, but don't you think he should be doing better than 124 a game? I'm not really saying he's garbage, I'm saying he's sorrier than **** and doesn't work enough to be good. He'd rather be dancing with other guys shirtless in gay bars and riding around acting like a nut pretending he's going to kill himself.
"but he has def. picked up more of the offense and is now somewhat able to make the right read and not throw as many picks."
I'd freaking hope he's picked up some of the offense by now and be somewhat able to make the right read. He's been in the league for 5 years now. He has 2 more INT's than TD passes, 24 more fumbles than TD runs, even though he's not a top 15 qb he still needs to have the dedication to be decent. My problem is more that than anything. It's an effort problem I have with him.
the WR's are:
Justin Gage
Nate Washington
LaVell Hawkins
and Britt
and Britt also had TD passes in 3 straight weeks with VY at QB. He is as responsible for Britt's growth as Collins or the Philly DB's haha
the WR's have been somewhat productive, but anybody put in a WR1 spot on an NFL team will get yards and catches.
aside from St. Louis who has lost their two best WR's, whose WR corp in teh NFL is worse?
he has been playing five years, but not five solid years. he missed almost two whole years. add that with the bench time he has only been a full time starter for less than 3 years.
like i said, he is not a top 15 QB, but he has made improvements slowly. his reads have gotten better, his grasp of the offense has gotten better, etc.. i think everyone knew it would take serious time before VY was an NFL QB. I know he has been a work ethic question, but I dunno I truly believe he realizes that he has to work hard and focus to be a great QB.
Like I said, it all goes back to the mojo. VY has the mojo. his teams win sometimes in spite of him but because of him.
VY is far far from being a reliable starting QB for a super bowl contender, but if he continues his improvement (something you cannot deny, even if the time frame is much longer than expected) he can reach the top 15 QB level.
VY will never be Peyton Manning or Brees, but he can be McNabb
even the lowly Niners or the Raiders have better WR corps than Tennessee.
I thought this would be a good point to bring up you keep talking about the yards he's put up this season so far lets really take a good look at it, should we?
Vince has threw the ball 101 times this year comp 62 pf them.... He hasn't threw the ball no where near as many times as the other QB in this league. So please quit with that trash of a 106 yards a game! His real avg ypg is 124, not much better but it's not 106!!!
BTW Britt made Collins look great, some of them passes was trash. Britt went up or ran back to catch most of them. don't get me wrong i'm still glad to see the W

check it out people....
I'm not saying their WR corp is great. He's sure as hell not doing anything for any of them to even make them look decent though. Brit can be a #1, Gage can be a better than average #2, and Washington can be a #3 for sure. It's not like they're lining up small TE's to play WR. They've got guy that can run and catch. They're not the best or most talented but their production and chances are nowhere near where they need to be. Carolina (now without Smith), Oakland, Buffalo, TB, and Seattle's could all make an argument are worse. The Bears are about even with them as Brit and Knox are similiar.
:lol::lol: Ohhhhhh yes. The best point you've ever made. I'll go back and edit everyone of my posts to make that 106 yards a game to 124.
He hasn't threw the ball anywhere near as much as everyone else because the ******* can't read a defense and likes to throw the ball to the wrong team.
Carolina's with Smith is better, I believe he is playing this week. and with him I believe they are better, because he is truly great.
Buffalo's are better IMO but its very close, with Steve Johnson who is playing great and Lee Evans.
TB's are very close as well with the emergence of Mike Williams, Benn,
and Seattle has TJ Housh and Mike Williams, I think they were better too.
but since the emergence of Britt as a true WR1, they are not the worst, just very close haha. They are a bottom-10 unit still tho.
but its also worth mentioning that timmay is right, VY is 3rd in the NFL in passer rating.
Tennessee should be 5-2, they have maybe the best OL in football, a top 5 RB, Kenny Britt, the most active DL, a decent LB corp and pretty good secondary (that can play much better than they have shown so far, they allow so many passing YPG but they have the talent to be a shutdown back 7. I dont like Finnegan, but he is for real)
