they need to fix the racetracks in the Chase.

there shouldnt be so many 1.5 mile tracks, needs to be more diverse and a challenge.

and they should finish the season at DARLINGTON

To me the best I think I would do it like this.

Leave them finishing the regular season at Richmond. Its a great track for close points battle for the last spot.

Race 4 Texas
Race 5 Watkins Glen
Race 6 Charlotte
Race 7 Bristol
Race 8 Darlington
Race 9 Dega
Race 10 Las Vegas

Have the last race on Saturday night, and have the awards show the next night.

but I really wish they ended at Darlington, a historic racetrack with tons of close, fast racing.

Darlington is a track I want to go watch a race at in the near future. I would like to throw Atlanta in there too, maybe instead of Homestead.

This would have been a bigger deal if Nascar was considered a sport and if Johnson was considered an athlete.

i dont agree at all with the last part.

those guys are athletes as much as golfers, anybody. It takes a very specialized skill set and incredible endurance to race.

Drivers lose like 20-30 pounds a race and have to drive at 200 MPH within inches of other cars going 200 MPH while keeping an eye on the way the car is running.

I dont watch NASCAR, not really a fan, but I consider them athletes.

I don't think Bristol should be in the mix these days. They ruined the track when they did the paving. Now, if it was the old Bristol, of course.

And yes, those guys are athletes. They have to train their bodies to endure that heat and everything.

And NASCAR is still worrying about attendance?? Blaming it on the economy.. ??
