The Family League has a SR. Division which is: 45 and up; Prime Division: 19-45; The Teen Division is: 13-18. The League Counsel has decided to establish a T?ween Division. It will be 11-13 year olds. It will be girls and boys. Participants are required to have at least a Blue belt or its equivalent in some form of Martial Arts training. The rules in the League are: 1. One Fall 2. No Time Limit 3. Win by submission after a wrestler is nude The following techniques are not allowed: eye gouging, scratching, pinching; biting and nose gouging. It is felt this new League will improve the competition in the Teen Division by acting a s a feeder League. From time to time a competitor from a different Division will wrestle a person from the T?ween Division. These matches will not count against the T?ween record. The area is canvassed for t?weens not in the Family League that meets the requirements. After 3 months; 24 kids are selected. Seven are not members of families not in the Family League. There are 12 boys and 12 girls ready to do battle. Of the 24; there are 18 eleven year olds and 6 twelve year olds. They workout and spar for 2 months before wrestling in their first event. The day of the first official matches arrive. It is a 12 Match Card. Many parents and friends look forward to the action to come. The participants go to their Dressing Rooms. One for the Boys and one for the Girls.
All of the Matches today will be Boys vs. Girls today. The Winners of today?s matches will meet in two weeks. I'm with you Brett. I also get into the fantasy of the older vs. younger matches with the older wrestler working over the unlucky younger fighter.
