At the request of several lucrative benefactors, regular wrestling cards were suspended to allow the promoters to run a one-night event called “Survival of the Weakest”. Several noteworthy women competed in the tournament including Katherine Heigl, Jessica Biel, Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron in order to establish a bit of legitimacy. Also on the card were several underwhelming in-ring performers like Kristen Stewart, Taylor Swift and Rachel Bilson. But there was one name on the roster who had the opportunity to catapult herself to the elite, A-List of fighters, Megan Fox.

Fox had all of the talent and skill to be a top level performer. While she didn’t have the height of some of the main eventers, her technical proficiency and killer instincts ensured that she would be a major draw for years to come.

But then came the tournament.

After a humiliating first round loss to the woefully overmatched Kaley Cuoco, Megan went on to suffer loss after loss until she found herself the shamed and humbled “winner” of the tournament. At the same time and with far less fanfare, Emma Watson’s representatives had been in contact with the promoters. Megan Fox roundly rejected the first list of potential opponents, feeling that her return had to have a certain spark to it. She fully intended to get her revenge against the women she lost to in the Survival of the Weakest tournament, but facing one of them in her first return match would shift the story. The story wasn’t about her seeking redemption, but rather it was just about her. She was the big deal, and as such, she wanted someone who would help her get her wish.

A low level employee, who was compiling the latest batch of candidates for Megan, got confused and accidentally put Emma Watson’s name on the list instead of Emma Stone. Before he could correct his error, the list was sent out to Megan’s people. Almost immediately, her representative called and demanded the match with the British girl.

Emma Watson offered everything Megan Fox was looking for. She was young and athletic, so the match would be spirited. She was also new and nubile, so Megan would have a chance to reestablish her reputation at the expense of a beloved celebrity. The promoters were less than thrilled, as they felt the virginal Watson wasn’t a big enough name despite her film’s box office receipts, but Megan wouldn’t budge.

Emma was less than thrilled when she found out about her opponent.
