vitor has great hands, but silva has a more diversified offensive attack. if silva can survive the initial onslaught and get vitors timing down, he will have some success striking. im extremely excited because i bet silva is 100% motivated for this fight. this is a huge fight, against a good striker. some people knock silva for only fighting grapplers (which is dumb, Lee Murray, Rivera, Franklin, Hendo (at that stage), Mach Sakurai (one of top p4p guys when silva beat him, he was undefeated too), Cote, and Frykland were all strikers). and if he can finish Belfort it answers a huge question.

Vitor has a good chance to win, he has big power and fast hands. What we must realize is though Anderson is not going to have to worry about the take downs like he did with Sonnen, so I think he will be more explosive.Quote:

Jones is the breakout athlete, this is how I see him.. he bust on to the scene and began dominating some of the best wrestlers in teh division. He has mad skills and is a tough kid, I like him and he has a great attitude. Bader is tough for anyone, but I have to go with bones on this one, how could you bet against him?
Not fearing the TD will be huge, it will let Silva be more open in his kicks and offensive attacks. Vitor will never attack AS like Sonnen did.
Vitor has fast hands, no doubts about it. But he has never been known for his gas tank nor his mental toughness. Plus the fact he has never even fought at MW in the UFC, he has not made MW in like 4 years now. The Franklin fight was at 195, and he just caught Rich on the temple.
Silva has had to adjust his style with the last few opponents since they were so scared of striking with Silva. Maia for example. Silva just embarrassed him for two and a half rounds, and quit because Maia refused to engage til very late in the fight. That will not be a problem with Vitor, and we could see him try and come out Leben-style or Forrest-style and go right at Vitor.

I trained a little at one time....
But, I always sucked at picking winners before a fight. On the other hand I think I'm probably better at picking winners DURING the fight than most of the judges the UFC are saddled with :)
Oh, but what we have to consider is everyone is different and most all people have different views on different things. I have found out that sometimes, especially on a forum things can be taken wrong. We really do not know the intentions of others.Quote:
