It should be a pretty good game. Both coaches are very active to say the least and both want to bring home that trophy. I think since Kelly already has District Champion shirts that their fans wear it would be embarrassing to not be able to bring home the hardware. PV wants redemption for the last game and the fact that they could get it in the District title game just adds icing on the cake, so to speak. Should be a good game.
I think it should be a very good game and could go down to the buzzer.
Kelly is the better of the two teams and has a much deeper roster, but the "better" team doesn't always win the game. Between TJ and Zach, you have two very competitive coaches with big egos. I wouldn't expect either team to hold back because they've already made the regionals.
I think the edge goes to Kelly since they're 2-0 against the Vikings this year.
It is very hard to beat a good team 3x in a season. Kelly had best bring their A-game tonightQuote:

Aaron Clark is one helluva basketball player. He deserves LPD POY, he is a monster.
But I was severly disappointed in the officiating, I thought they gave PV too many breaks before the half and absolutley NONE after it. Ive never seen a half where a teams big guys shoot ZERO free throws. ZERO.
Wise deserved to win, they played great and Clark is a great ballplayer. They are a very good team.
But they need to find other scorers quick. PV didnt have the depth or size to stop Clark, couldnt use Vernon because they didnt want him to pick up fouls. But a team like GC does have the depth and JJK will have to have other scorers to beat them

But I thought Wise did a great job on the PV bigs. Wise is very small but they kept PVs post players outside guarding kids on defense which kept them from crashing the boards as hard as they would like. PV kept Vernon on 32 to keep him out of foul trouble but it let Wise get a ton of offensive boards.
And the depth was HUGE. PV only had 8 kids there with 1 sick. There was no way to keep them fresh with Wises full court D and pressure.
but PV did a great job to stay in it and they kept any other Wise player from really getting going. Offense was very hard to come by both ways, but PV was able to penetrate more in the second half but didnt hit many shots.
and inconsistent is the perfect word. PV got some calls in the first half but it was all Wise in the second. and getting the calls after halftime never hurts a team haha.
I really just wish I could go to an LPD basketball game and not even notice the refs, I really do.
pvfan pointed ya out to me during the game but it was just too **** hot to try and make my way over and say hello hah, it was like a f'n pressure cooker in there tonight

You are one of the few people that don't hold a grudge. I get excited during the game but when it's over it's over. Some people fail to realize that; at the end of the day, it really is just a game.

I thought all in all that it was a well played game on both sides. Congrats to Kelly, nice season. Both coaches seemed to behave last night, which always isn't the case. I though both teams showed good sportsmanship towards each other, considering the rivalry of this year. The officials called a decent game. Nothing huge missed. LPD looks like a more physical game to try and call based on the style of the LPD teams. Overall good night of basketball.
I would not say good sportsmanship overall, there was one incident from a player that I thought was very unsportsmanlike but its over and done with now.
I would say you are correct. The news even showed the actions of that player and commented on it. It was embarassing for the school and district.
