PV is around 60 years old. It was built in the 50s, I dont remember the exact date.
Well from what I found, Pound, JJK and Burton were founded in 1953, so guessing PV would be around or in 53' too?

Makes sense since Appy was 60 too I believe, the current building. Now St. Paul? They have a wiki page, but it says founded 1905 - I know that can't be when the current buildings were built, so I'm lost and that's the only thing(right now) I need.
If you will look at the history of P.V. Jack Lane scored the first touchdown for P.V. and that was 1960.
Here's one that I can't find either, it's not local though. What's the average size(population wise) of high schools in the US? I know that's going to be tough to find, when there's junior high and such, but I can't even find those.
The current St. Paul HS building was built around 73 I think.
Dammit, sorry I left one out, when was Coeburn built?
from 2000, the average HS size was around 752 students.

One of my fav findings is that Wise Co is above the state avg in dropout rates (even though that is one of the big selling points of our small schools)
another is that several of our smaller schools seem to have more of a violents problem per student than the larger schools in our area
My dumbass came across that earlier and didn't realize what I was looking at, but that's exactly what I was looking for - VA is pretty high too, 1076, so even with consolidation, we're still WAY below average.Quote:
