Great price--I've thought about buying a pair of Altecs for my garage/workshop area. If I was a little closer, it would be a no brainer. Even with the 12 hour round trip drive it's tempting to drive out and audition them. I think it's safe to say they'd have no problem being heard over power tools!

By the way, I noticed (among other things) that the pair in Baltimore has the N501-8A crossover (500 hz) being used with 811B horns......
I got an email back from the owner they were sold. Maybe he's just lazy?

Edit...several hours later...got an email from an acquaintance...thanking me for the heads up. he got them. So this deal apparently was legit.
