Greetings everyone....I have finally decided to sell my vintage Altec 604C co-axial 15 inch driver. I only have one, and it was earmarked to become the centerpiece of a vintage mono system for which I have been collecting bits and pieces for few years. I recently was able to get a set of NOS vintage JBL drivers for a Hartsfield system, including the 075 tweeter. I want to mount these in an Altec Voice of the Theater type enclosure instead of the complex JBL type, and need to sell this beautiful 604 to fund the building of the enclosure that will finally complete my vintage mono system. I'll have to take pictures this weekend, and get them posted to photobucket, then will re-post the link here for all to see. This driver is in nice shape, original cone, working condition, ready to use or place on display shelf. I'm asking $675 for this driver, plus shipping costs. For shipping, it will be bolted to a wood panel to protect the cone/horn and well boxed to protect the rest of it. I can ship anywhere in the normally accessible free world that is served by DHL International. I am in the Portland Oregon area so if any of you are in the NW area and want to pick it up in person that is OK too. Hi,

I have my Altec H-808 Horns listed on eBay.
The auction ends on Sunday Nov. 27 at 5:15 PM.

This is a nice pair of matched Altec Lansing H-808 horns from the 1940s. One horn was painted with black paint. The other horn looks like the original paint. They are in great condition with no visible damage or problems. The paint is not peeling.

Where to begin.. I have these speakers that I really like a lot even though they are much to large for the space I have. I have spoken to Bowtie427 on several occasions via pm at AK and he suggested getting in touch with all of you guys for a chance at them first.

I will keep them over parting them out as I have no real need to get rid of them just would prefer something a little more user friendly. As they stand if I cannot find anything else they will go to the garage for neighborhood concert speakers. What I would like to do is find someone who will use them without parting them out.

I would prefer to trade than to sell outright as I have no way to really value these other than for their parts which is dificult because these are not standard drivers and I dont really want to do ebay and shipping, etc..

I would like to trade for a pair of 604-8?'s in cabinets with crossovers and/or tube equipment. If you are interested please contact me. My username is the same at AK if you want to contact there that is fine as well.

I've got 2 8154's in good shape, and 2 8256's with XO cutouts, in fair shape.
I'd like to standardize on the 8154.
If anyone is reasonably near PHL (try me, I drive!) and looking to trade 8154's for my set of 8256's, get in touch.
Cosmetics of your 8154 are less important to me, than structural condition. I will likely clean/paint etc. them.
If they are already e.g. minty, I can sweeten the deal with a selection of whatever else I have left to trade out, Altec or otherwise.
Would also be interested in knowing about your other 8000 series boxes for sale/trade.
I've got non-altec, and a fair amount of non-audio trade fodder (inc music gear, instruments, etc.) around at the moment.

Free for pickup only in Oakland, California (Mills College area): ONE Altec 612C Cabinet for 604 speaker (the listing is for one cabinet only, no drivers). It has a cutout for the 8H crossover. The paint on the cabinet is worn but it is structurally in good shape. The cabinet measures 30" x 25" x 20". If interested please send me an email to arrange for pickup, thanks. Up for sale is a pair of early 515 Drivers. RWB Hollywood. Very Early. Physically in near mint condition. They just need a re-cone as the cone has some rubbing issues. I'm away for the weekend so pictures will come later.

No phishing here....

Re-coned roughly 15 years ago. Worked great when put away but sat in dry storage and one works great and the other rubs. It will either need a re-cone or someone more skilled than I. Both speakers impedance around the 15ohm range. Thanks so much for looking! 1100 shipped.

I have decided to let another Altec user have my Milano's. They are in great shape and come with the matching console. I ned the $'s and the space to finish my 1235c's

I have absolutely no idea how to ship these, so I think a local PU or possibly a meet up is the only option.

Just took possession of a house from the 1960's on the East End of Long Island, NY. The home only had 2 owners in the last 50 years and the first owner was apparently an audiophile. I've got 5x Altec 755C speakers (no cabinets), a pair of 605As with N1600s in large homemade cabinets, and an Altec Emperor Royale (plugs in and tubes have power). All items have serial numbers that date from 1964. What's the best way for me to part with these items, eBay? Would love to put this cash into my remodeling budget. Thanks in advance, some photos:

I have for sale a pair of coaxial drivers from the Altec 9864A Duplex speaker system. The drivers are in great shape, the horns are both intact. If you don't know about this system it is the 16" 505 woofer with a 299 1.4" tweeter. Additionally, I have one complete cabinet in good shape, and the grill and terminal plate from a second cabinet, which was too far gone to restore. Everything is there to re-build the cabinet to look factory finished.
I would like to get $600 for the driver pair, and essentially you can have everything else that you want, but I am open to offers, feel free to PM me and we can hash something out. I may be interested in a partial trade for some JBL speakers under 4 cubic feet or so.
I am located at zip code 26501, Morgantown WV, about 1 hour south of Pittsburgh, PA. I would prefer local pickup, but I am willing to ship the drivers given payment for shipping fees.
Attached are photos of one of the drivers, and I will upload photos of the cabinet as soon as I remember to take them while the sun is out, otherwise it is too dark to see any detail.

Additional pictures from above, the completed cabinet. I've got additional pictures if anyone is interested, just let me know via PM and I'll get them to you. There is some damage to some of the corners, as well as minor separation on some of the edges which could be fixed with some glue and clamping, and there was a paint splash on the back of it which is visible in one of the pictures, but it will need refinished anyway because the color it is isn't very attractive. Also pictured is the second terminal plate and the other grill I have, which go along with the sale of the complete unit, serials are one after the other. The altec lansing plaque at the bottom of the speaker is removable so if you don't want the whole grill I can offer that independently. And again, I'm willing to ship it all freight as long as you cover the shipping costs, otherwise pickup in Morgantown, WV, 26501. Asking price is $600 if you want the completed box shipped or just the two coaxial driver pairs. Information on the system CAN BE FOUND HERE.
