I think 511 also. Interesting clip. No one in the audience is even looking at the band! I would have to say everyone of those folks remembers the sixties in detail.
Was the crowd just that stoned or were they really that sad? I didn't see one person smiling, that was the tiredest group of kids I have ever seen in my life at a live concert.
They were just being "cool". Man, those chicks have more 'style' and sex appeal than more recent generations. Pity they are all grandmothers now.

Great clips--thanks for sharing! Cool to see that two of my favorite bands (The Who, The Beatles) used the classic Altecs we all know and love. I wonder if the lack of audience enthusiasm (besides all of the good points listed above) also has something to do with the fact that the band are lip syncing and "miming" to the studio recording of these songs--the audio is clearly the studio recording and not live audio. Lip syncing/miming to the original studio recording wasn't an uncommon practice on these types of shows in the 60's. I have DVD's of other 60's bands (like the Moody Blues for example) on shows like this one lip syncing/miming to studio recordings in front of a live audience. BTW, this isn't always the case when you see a live clip with studio audio. Sometimes the live audio recording (sound quality) was so poor that whoever posted the clip replaced the original clip's live audio with the studio recording of the same song and synced them up with a computer program that constantly speeds up and or slows down the video footage to keep it more or less in sync with the studio audio version that was used to replace the original live audio......
By the way, I love the Who album/compilation "Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy" that contains the studio version of all three of these songs and lots more great stuff--highly recommended......

If you like LIVE vintage vids, search "old grey whistle test" or OGWT, a fairly endless supply of good stuff there.
For instance this performance of "Badge" by Clapton. I'm not a huge Clapton fan, but this is a great rendition, and i kinda like that lefternmost back up singer too!

Not based on the kick drum height referenced to Pete's, Roger's knees, nor to Roger's relatively short stature unless it's much further to the rear than I think it is, making it too short for an A7 and too tall for whatever an 816/511 combo is, so no clue since by '68 everybody and his brother were making variations of the A7 plus shortening real ones became popular to increase driver loading to handle the new high power drivers, amps.
Can't tell about the horn, my ancient CRT is so blurry/dark it's just a black blob even blown up full screen.
I can see vanes in the horn. I think after a closer look, what i originally took to be just a drum riser is in fact the stage they're all performing on. I still think it's a VOT, and i think it's sitting on the same floor the audience is dancing on. Consider that if it's what the audience is actually listening to(i'm sure Pete wasn't playing thru a Marshall), it may well be on casters or a dolly.
OK, here's a video of Small Faces performing in the same venue, during the same new years eve party. Note Moony sitting on the floor directly in front of VOT intensely enjoying whatever is coming out of it. Later in the vid you'll see a guy standing next to it with his elbow resting on top of the bass cabinet, it fits him about mike my 828's fit me.

It seems to have all been filmed on a soundstage at a French TV studio. Small Faces obviously played the same stage as The Who, but stage rear was pulled much further back for Small Faces' performance.
If you're savvy(or click the provided link), you can find a vid of the one tune that Pink Floyd played. They were set up in a different part of the studio, and i think they were actually playing, not syncing.

At least i'm relatively sure that's a Hammond organ as the percussion switches are present, tho it's not a B-3, maybe a C-2 or C-3?.
