Wow! Tons of great info. Thanks.
There is tons of good reading and data in that publication. Now if I can only understand 50% I'll be a rocket scientist!
Thanks for posting. The pictures are great.
I like how at the very end, that new Lacleach horn looks an awful lot like a human mouth and a pair of lips. Have they been modeling horns from human body parts, like the JBL horns that look an awful lot like a pair of butt cheeks?
Your Welcome Guys !
I love this cartoon. His listening room is inside the bass horn. :biggrin2:

Has anyone heard Le Cleach horns?
I'm still reading through this PDF--a real wealth of knowledge here. Thanks for sharing AB!
I haven't Marshall.Never had the opportunity.I used to be able to jump at the chance to hear any new gear back in the day,in my (20's).Unfortunately, I don't get those chances as much these days with work and the lack of stores period.A buddy of mine used to manage a high end audio store (Hal's Stereo) which I used to visit quite often.Sadly those stores are few and far between around here anymore.
That's a really great resource and a good read. But I wish for the sake of completeness he'd included a picture of the Chrysler Air Raid Siren.
VictorySiren.com - Internet Home for the Chrysler Air Raid Siren
Air coming out of the horn is moving @ 400 mph ! 176 db @ the siren 138 db @ 100 ft. and can be heard over 10 miles away ! It uses a 331 cu Hemi. That is pretty far.

The Chrysler is impressive- a Hemi powered siren! Not a speaker though.
Not quite as impressive but still a speaker...
