Even though they're pre GPA, i think Bill had much to do with the engine. Somebody correct me if i'm wrong.
Thanks Bowtie! that is a very interesting configuration? Compared to a 604 how would these sound? and is there a problem with time alignment?
No expert or personal experience here, but i think correct time alignment(as close as physically possible) was one of the prime design goals in the engine.Quote:

i'm a big fan of that bottom octave, much lower than 41hz. after looking at the response chart and stated frequency response, i'm pretty sure i'd need some VLF augmentation in order to live with them long term.
Doing what they do so well, may be the case. Also, I typically have some sort of vintage home speaker hooked up that doesn't go too low either, so I'm used to it. I doubt the lot will go for $2000. Buy it Now is $4500 which is more reasonable. But you never know....

No bids....... That many heavy boxes is a bit much for a person to handle. I suspect most outfits that could handle it, would want newer equipment. The engines don't have the reputation that the 604 does........ they're much much newer, and weren't made for very long, so they're virtually unknown by most people.Quote:
