I am going through the story now that I have the final issue in the arc.
I wait until the story arc is over then read the issues back to back - saves on frustration [img]wink.gif[/img]
From what I have read the artwork is amazing! a great fusion between the classic Spawn and Hell Spawn artwork! (with no knock toward the regular artists)

I collected all the way up to #120. Found the art and story unbearably dull after #100.
Are things getting better now?

Just finished 140 & 141. Really liked them a lot. Sad to hear you're not going to be continuing with Spawn. Hopefully that'll change in the future but for right now, excellent job. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] So what's next for you guys?
I stopped reading Spawn around issue 110.
Still upset that the trade paper backs stopped, leaving my set incomplete. [img]frown.gif[/img]

Still here guys, just been busy at the drawing table. Thanks for all of the kind words, we were trying to bring something different to the Spawn universe while trying to listen to what you guys were asking for. If you haven't picked up any of the issues yet, please do if you get a chance and let us know if you dig the direction we took them. Brian, Jay and I are all Spawn fans and I hope it shows. If you want to see more let the guys at TMP know, that's the only thing anyone can do right now.
Look for announcements soon on a few new projects for Jay and I over at IDW. I've been working with that Niles guy alot, as well as a creator owned Werewolf thing so stay tuned.

All I can say is, "Thank You". I don't mean to be disrespectful but Medina's artwork is a big mess of doodles imo. I'm a huge fan of spawn and the last two issues were very nice. there have been many times I have looked at medina's stuff and can't tell what the hell is going on. Your art is a very nice relief! Keep up the good work. It seems like the art and now the story are picking up. I'm excited to see the clash between Redeemer and spawn. I just hope you draw it (or i will if todd wants me to. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] )

I went through those isseus to read through and view the story you and Jay did (even though I am still back at issue 35 in the series - working my way to catch up with the reading)
I liked the change in the artwork from the fare that has been seen. Not to disrespect Angel by any means, but it is always good to interject changes at some point or the feeling of it all gets bogged down into the "sameness" from one issue to the next!
Definately impressed and really liked the direction! Love to see more from you two related to the Spawn mythos! I think this new Nyx Spawn would be good to have in another offshoot line from the standard Spawn line
i have to say i really like the latest story arc. it was nice to see something different in the spawn universe and i really enjoyed the artwork over medinas.
You know how I feel Nat, I'm still preparing the petition over at Spawn to keep you guys on board.

You've had a fan in me since your work on 'The Dark Ages' (A monthly read I still miss).
You continue with this effort! I have to say it's the best that 'Spawn' has looked in a long while. I feel Angel is a good artist, but I also feel that for 'Spawn', your work is a better fit.
