Almost all of the core Marvel characters were created by Lee, Kirby, and Ditko....

... and saying that he didn't have a hand in them is like saying George Lucas didn't design Darth Vader because we recognize him from Ralph McQuarrie's original art.

Stan created the stories and characters that the other two illustrated... and the byproduct is characters that grew beyond those modest comic beginnings into icons.

it's about time. he deserves it. they way they tried to shut him out of it was disrespectful and unjustifiable. one of the greatest creative minds of the last century should be treated with more respect. and deserves to get rich off of this shit more than anybody.

Now that Stan is finally cashing in, I wonder if his two-bit cameos in the movies will continue or not?

hopefully he sees fit to send some of it my way...
