I know that there's some in here who have never heard these guys. To you, I gotta say, check 'em out. Awesomely beautiful music. Very atmospheric. I've heard them compared to the Manic Street Preachers, but I don't see it at all. Way too sleek. No punk here. Cool stuff, if you haven't heard it.

I'm with you Lycan, i don't see the MSP comparisonz at all. Killer band, although all i have iz the 'Living In A Movie Scene' CD(Iz that the title? Can't remember offhand lol). Love their stuff.
-
Living in a Movie Scene is the EP.
They also have two full length releases. Sunday Refugees and Movie Scene Street (has the EP and a bunch more on it). I have the EP and Refugees. Will be needing to get Movie Scene Street sometime. Tossed on my ever dwindling 'need' list, I guess. http://www.hostboard.com/forums/

Lycan your a mind reader. Some mentioned to me that I'd probably like CP and here you are recommending them to me. Definatley have to invest in the cds now
Many thanks

HEY I REMEMBER RECOMENDING THIS BAND TO YA LYCAN!!! BUT IT WAS IN OLD GLITZINET!!! AND IT WAS CUZ YOUR LOVE (LIKE MINE) FOR DAVY'S VAIN VOCAL TYPE!!!
-
A recommendation from Marky too. Thats it gotta get me some stuff by Conscience Pilate. Am i right in saying Neil Leyton is /was in this lot.
-
Yes he was, Ian. Also two members of Robin Black and the IRS (don't ask me which).
-
I'm listening to Sunday Refugees right now. WOW!!! This one is great!!! Not meaning to brag, mind you.
-
DON'T TELL ME WHY BUT I BECAME IN A OBSESSED FAN OF THIS BAND AND SPECIALLY NEIL!!! IT'S RARE CUZ THE REST OF MY FAVES BANDS ARE IN THE CANDYCOATED/BUBBLEGUM/80'S GLAM WAY AND THIS BAND IS THE EXCEPTION TO THE RULE BEING MORE MYSTIC, PSYCHODELYC, INTENSE!!!
-
BTW IAN/LYCAN IF I CAN BE USEFULL FOR BOTH OF U I GOT:
NEIL LEYTON-Melancholy understanding
NEIL LEYTON-My new soul
NEIL LEYTON-Secret avenue
NEIL LEYTON-Staring
THE CONSCIENCE PILATE-Movie Scene St
THE CONSCIENCE PILATE-Sunday refugees
-
I'm gonna buy the other CP release (Movie Scene Street) Can you tell me how Neil Leyton compares? Thanx.
-
Changes one records in the uk have some neil leyton cds. Think i'll have to investigate them too. Also heard Ky anto's solo cd is worth getting as well.
-
They also have all of the CP cds. That's where I got my full length release (Sunday Refugees). I was able to score the EP from ebay. http://www.hostboard.com/forums/
-
Also another recommendation to purchase of them are the following
Poet & Dragon - Tyal & Dregen
Fakin Kant - Tyla
Tyla live & death 1,2 dvds
Poet and dragon is kick ass acoustic. Fakin Kant is abit darker than tylas usual stuff with a few dance beats & stuff on it.

Hmmm?
I do have some music from them...not the EP nor releases....but I dont' think I would buy anyways.
I never could really get into them.
I had heard such high praise for CP and how great the were?....It was like deja-vu to me...Cuz I had heard how great and awesome Tommy and The Love Tribe was...So once I heard them, I found them terrible. Same here with CP...I had heard so much good things about them and when I finally got my hands on some of their music...I found it bland and disappointing. All the expectations got thrown out the window.
That's my opinion on CP...hehehe...Take it or Leave it.

LEYTON'S SOLO STUFF COMPARED WITH THE CONSCIENCE IS LIKE COMPARE BETWEEN THE TYLA SOLO STUFF AND THE DOGS (SIMILAR BUT MORE QUIET/SLOW/MELOW AND LESS ROCKER)
