Will it fit? I didn't know that.. I haven't been up to much lately.. working a lot.. the crx has been out of commision for like a month or two now.. I can't find out whats wrong with it.. it really sucks, because it stopped working right after I put my front mount on, and now all my turbo stuff is collecting dust in my room.. i'm starting to get real mad now.. I am dying to get the bastard running (blows #14 fuse when I drive it, but not when I am idling) so I can bring it up to PA.. the day I get it running, i'm going to get all the turbo stuff put on, so i'm trying everything to find the problem. what have you been up to? how is the weiner dog? (max?)

I can help you out with the blown fuse! Tell me is this the interior fuse block?

And the hood.....I have been waiting for 3 months now and my hood still isn't here! I got a fiberimage SIR style hood. What style is your hood? I might as well cancel my order if your is an SIR hood. But anyways tell me more on you blown fuse. That's the kinda work we do at our shop.

Yeah, it is the alternator fuse in the fuse box under the dash.. i've been trying to figure it out for a long time now.. I want to have everything done before the PA meet..

also, the hood is the USDM style.. IMO it looks much better. It also gives enough clearance for zcs and b16s..

hmmm.. I was thinking more like $450 + shipping.. and I have no clue how much it would be to ship it.. don't forget, it's brand new.. I am actually getting it dropped off at my shop today..

dude, i'm sorry..but bodykitsnw hoods are way better than fiber images. when i was looking for one i did a ton of research and found that fiber images, sunny stylin, etc. are all one piece..when you get your hood look at the underside..it won't even look like a hood from underneath. spoon also makes a cf hood that is two pieces..the bodykitsnw hood is the closest thing i found to spoon at a reasonable price. when i was going to order from andy he was gonna ship for around 50$ from Washington state to virginia. go figure.

All the hoods i've seen from fiber images have been 2 piece, and I was also told that mine is 2 pieces, it was supposed to be dropped off at my work today, but the guy isn't coming up who has it at his shop.. He said he probably could sell it locally so i'm going to leave it up there for awhile.I am definitly not trying to make money off this stuff.. just get what I payed back. I am not the kind of guy to rip people off.. trust me.. I don't lie about stuff, especially stuff like shipping.. it costs me between $100-$150 to ship a CF hood from my shop. These hoods are VERY nice.. trust me. one of the guys here uses one on his eclipse.. they are nice.. I would rather get rid of it locally though, just to avoid shipping.. About the fuse blowing:

That fuse feeds a few different things....
Main relay + fuel pump, Charging light, ELD unit (in main fuse block), Alternator terminal for regulator, Air boost control seloniod, and one other seloniod too. I bet it's either a wire around the intake manifold that is shorted or one of the selonoids. Try unpluging them and see if it helps. I will bring home a book with some diagrams tonight...see if we can't fix this.

i would like to find someone that would trade me a hood for my type r cams or my 2k si wheels and tires. but i guess if i am going to spend that much i would rather have a jdm front end they are $650 plus shipping and i like the way they look.
