Alright, it seems that over the last couple of weeks my cash flow has almost come to a hault. I'm working fewer hours making $6.00/hr..which just isn't enough. I'm 17 and can't find a decent job anywhere.
I see a lot of people on the board are droppin mad cash into their ride. What are your secrets if you dont mind me asking? I'm in a computer networking vocational right now, which will lead me to a good paying job in the future, but I need some ideas for some quick cash for my car and its summer plans.
Cheapest i'm finding parts, ect. is on places like groupbuycenter, ebay, people online. Is this the cheapest possible, or are you guys getting some kind of underground deals http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif

well for me its not really a secret. its more of a bad accident gone good. About a year i shattered my knee cap...well i won a settlement for it ($19,000) sooo naturally i dumped a very good portion into my car. Well know that that well has dried up i moved to my mother credit card.....

rob a few banks make shure you get about 200000 dollers befor you get cought and hide 100000 really well they will find you and the not so well hidden 100grand after you get out of jail you will have 100000 to play with free and clear. Or you could meet rich old man/woman depending on preffrance, and make money that way. anyone elce got any good ideas becides stealing consumer electronics from semi trucks?
but really try to take on a few more hours as long as it doesent sacrafice your school try to find something a little better paying and save your money for what you really want to spend it. If you know you can pay it back and want to start building a little credit you could take out a small loan.
well thats about it untel you get to a point in your life where you can start making the real bucks.

make friends with the local ricers and with the junkyard. your riceboy friends will always be buying the latest thing and need cash to buy it, so naturally they will sell off their old goods.
also, make friends with the owner of the local junkyard. it's awesome to hook up your car w/ parts from other cars. you can put a crx dash in that is cool, integra back brakes for four wheel disc, etc.

I've been going to college for 4 years for mechanical engineering, and just this past summer I finally got a decent paying job ( and $50k in debt), but now I'm back at school and poor again. I just don't eat so I can spend my lunch money on car parts... :-)

my secret is patience. i made a list (with prices) of all the stuff i wanted for my car. then i started picking things up one by one in order of importance (to me).
when i bought my Si a year ago...i thought it was going to be forever until anything good happened. i bought it with a blown out glass pack and lowered on some stupid hubcaps. slowly the car came together.
feel lucky. i'm gonna assume you don't have a house payment or your married with a kid.

Scrounging. Find a friendly junkyard and make friends with them. I learned that one from my uncle. We used to window shop at the wreckers like women do at the mall. Also learn how to work on your own car. The tools you buy come out of the savings by doing it yourself and will be an investment in future savings. As it is now I can afford more toys (too many projects) but I used to be broke too.

Some of the money I make is Mostly From my Job. But I also have a few thing on the side. Used parts for computers and Cars. Buy one car and sell it off for parts. make mad cash. But as the saying goes... It takes money to make money.
