Inflation adjusted, this is pocket change compared to OEM 'distributor net' pricing and why I never had any of the measuring capability [and much more] that DIYers take for granted now by just having internet access.

Who knew there were so many flux capacitors still out there?
Wow--considering that it was being sold "as art"/untested, I hope for that price it either works or looks good next to the buyer's print of the Mona Lisa..... "We do not have the facilities to test the unit thus can not make any claim as to its working condition. It's being sold as art!"
Is it possible it was bought of parts?
hope not.
there are pictures of this in the first edition of the audio cyclopedia.

Me too, it was just one of many [fund a new Corvette] expensive esoteric testing systems I lusted after and now what it can do [and more] is built into at least one PC oscilloscope FREEWARE !!!!! program and I assume with greater accuracy. IIRC, John Murphy's Trueaudio speaker design software was the first to include at least some of the 402's testing capability.
