so my friend crashed his 5g h/b..ben-L has seen it in the bone yard...he ended up w/ a 5g ex coupe so i figured with all the debate about which was better that we should race.
his is mostly stock an intake and a couple of other goodies but nothing speacial..about the same as my 4g h/b...except i have the zc set up...i can keep up with most gsr's and beat a few so you know where this is going ....not even a chance did he stand with only one cam...he smoked his tire and i burnt mine..and in the end i had better than 1 car length....niether of us are pro drivers so this was pretty even..though his ride weighs more than mine...i haven't found any one with a 4g transplant sohc to race yet, but would it be worth it?

hey ben when does the duck open back up?
maybe we could meet up i haven't seen a b16 run yet not one that was done right anyway.
the one i saw didn't have lsd and i don't think the motor was in right..i raced a crx out there that was all primed with a sohc he was on the bottle but wanted to see what it do without it on i beat him by a little but it was a fun race.. i was thinkin bout goin 5g but i hate to throw away everthing in my h/b that i have now..also i looked at a wrx in chantilly this weekend they are cool.but then i wouldn't have the $ for the aftermarket... have you seen one yet?

i would like to wait for the sti....but then i am sure not to afford it...4.2 i heard.the evo is cool sure am glad u r close..we can battle ..friendly of course..saw my friend w/ the b16 today told me it was running good.but got beat by a gsr..how good could that be?...i have been by the place in orange was the car black? i think it has been there a while....so how about a trip to P.A. soon? somethin to do .....if we drive around long enough i heard we may run into a turbo zc....hahahaah...big state though..

haha, yup mitch..we got to get together again. dude, i'm pissed though. when i built my motor i didn't change out the oil pump. guess what..my oil pump is bad. i'm running over 100psi at acceleration and it's causing the vtec solenoid gasket to blow. doh..gotta wait til monday to get my stupid car back. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gif

man that really sucks 100 lbs of press...that is a whole lot....did the
instument cluster you put in have a gauge?
one more reason for me to put one in. i never did like not knowing what the zc is
running...i checked it when i first put
the motor in just to make sure but have been
counting on the light if anything goes, oh well time for a gauge.
