And bought a SiR!! ok, not really, it's a Euro SiR, a 1.6i VT.

I was driving past a Honda dealership the other day and I saw this SiR all alone in a corner, I thought WTF I just pretend I'm interested and maybe I can drive it for a little while. So I talked to the guy for a while, inspected the car, absolutely no rust! (and that's rare in my area) and asked him if I could take it for a spin, he said yeah sure I'll go get the keys.
I drove it for over an hour and when I came back I was in love http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif
He offered me a good price for my DX and I can keep my rims, audio and some other little things so I decided to just go for it!
I won't be having any money for mods (or food) in the next couple of weeks/months but I don't care http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
I must be the happiest man on earth!
I'll have it by the end of the week, man I can't wait!

Looks sweet! I wouldn't mind doing some photos of our 2 SiRs - same spots and working out what differences there are. Off the top of my head, the euro has a different instrument setup, and about 10bhp less than the JDM. Also no red carpet studs to hold the carpets in place. But that's about it. Hmmm... I'd love to see if the suspension is the same - get some more pics soon.

The Euro VT has the B16A with 150bhp. I dunno why it's down 10bhp on the US/JDM B16A - fuel octane in Europe at the time maybe? Anyone?

Yep, it's a B16A 150hp, EDM B16A's always have 10hp less (B16A2 160 EDM vs 170 JDM).
There have been threads about the why of this before, but I've never read a definite answer. This is what I have on my site now and that seems to be the main reason:
"the head is the same but the VT does not have a knock sensor. A theory is that the EDM VT has a different ignition timing and is detuned because of Octane ratings (JDM 98RON, EDM 95RON)"

Sounds cool - what about we do: exterior - front, rear and side. Engine bay from the top, interior instrument binacle, seats, carpet...
Ah stuff it... I'll take some shots and post them up over the next few days - maybe you could replicate them and then Ami could put both sets up side by side on one of the pages.
