Fucking ACE pix there!
Ya' know, I had to do this.....sorry if I offend anybody.
Here we have a perfect example of punk rockers. http://www.bobgruen.com/potda/0604/D...b/GR1L0569.jpg
Just oozing attitude. lol I know, I know, I'm a horrible person.
Those morons around Dave, one being Sick Jones of The Rash, they certainly are punks. Why, they look a couple of right old queens just back from their time at 53rd and 3rd!!!!
Jay, I was just pointing out that they look very old. I don't really care much about their chosen sexual preference. lol
Funny thing, I had been thinking about the way the "punks" used to pretend to be Teenagers when they were generally older, except for the likes of Eater. "Bored Teenager"...LMGDMFAO!!!! "No Future"...LMGDMFAO x 1,000,000,000!!!! The likes of Ramones and them were even worse in that regard since they were really nothing but late twentyish boho cranks in the first place.
Tony James looks horrible, even worse than Sick Jones. Shit, it's worse because TJ was a "peacock punk" and GenX/SSS weren't bad at all.
Actually, I think Dave aged the best of any of them, and that's because he was never really a "punk".
You're attacking THE CLASH now??? Good lord man, get over it! You also continually show your maturity for this type of stuff when you continually resort to name calling. "Sick" Jones? Really, couldn't you call him something better, like Penishead or something? Sick? Good lord, you can't even find a good rhyme.
Carl, can't stand Clash, never could. Some of their later stuff was okay, such as Train in Vain, the music of Rock the Casbah, fuck the lyrics, but other than that and a few early things, naahhh...
Anyway, I was punning on his name, Sick...Mick.
I know it was a pun Jay, but it was still...amature hour like? You can do better than that, seriously.
Carl, it's spelled Amateur Hour, as in the Sparks song and also in the old Ted Mack Show.
Yes, I could do better with the punnng, but wasn't really that interested in that case. If it had been Steve Jones, would have referred to his old "band", The Sick Pustules.
BTW...I've not looked at your old radio group. I do love that sort of thing, probably partly for reasons won't go into now, but do love that shit. Johnny Dollar is one of my faves. Lights Out, The Clock, The Whistler,The Hitchhiker. Great Gildersleeves, JackBenny Program, anything with Lionel Barrymore, whom I actually knew.
You want some info about me? I knew Lionel, Ethel, and Diana Barrymore, actually the whole Barrymore theatre family. I also know Jaid Barrymore, Drew's mother, haven't seen her for years. As for Drew, she hadn't even been conceived when I last saw Jaid.
I just love posting truths about myself and confusing people even more, essentially because what I'm posting sounds like the ravings of a madman. Of course, since it's true it's not that.
How about PRICK Jones??
I've got a shit load of Joneses in my family, and, fortunately he's not really a Jones.
Would it that some of my Jones relatives resembled Catherine-Zeta Jones in any way.
I do remember visiting a sheep farmn in Wales as a youngster.I didn't see anything that would interst the prurient minded on this board .
Just curious, but who requested information of any sort about Jeff?
What are you talking about?
Hey, I'm past caring about who you really are. But, if you want to talk OTR, drop by the group, get up a yahoo account so that nobody has access to your real addy, and start getting some OTR! I have a disc in front of me right now of 100+ LIGHHTS OUT shows. Plus I have all the WEIRD CIRCLE shows, and a big batch of INNER SANCTUM.
I like Johnny Dollar quite a bit also. Of all the detective stuff, he is one of my faves, along with Jack Webb doing Pat Novak.
Join up Jay! I know you would be a great one to spark some talk of the shows! I will also give you my word that I will keep all the shit out of the group, and NOBODY will ever mention the ugly stuff. Join up with a name 100% unlike yours, and I will give you my word that it will between the two of us that you are there.
You don't think that a brand new Yahoo! nym showing up at your group would arouse suspicion?
I do love OTR, especially the weird detective, mystery and...SUSPENSE!!!! shows. I also like variety and those weepy shows that are always around the last part of the year(That Dragnet show about the altar boy taking the statue always gets me).
Tell you the truth Jay, I don't think most of the people that eventually show up there will know anything about your past at all. Most OTR nuts are not people who hang on EZBoards, Sludge, or even Glitz. Most of them are people in their late 30's to early 90's who know VERY little about computers and the internet. They know how to burn CD's and that is about it. Spend anytime with OTR websites, and you will see how out of step these people are. Most of the member as of now are Glitz, but they are also the "safe" Glitz crowd, with the exception of Raggz and Lycan, and those two can give you hell here, so I doubt they will say anything there.
Plus man, I give you my word that if any shit starts, those people starting will be removed. Plus, that is why you make a Yahoo account, if shit starts, kill the account, and start a new one.
Come on, you know you want to join in!!!
