I know I'm late...

Just got my copy of Oakland Zone a few days ago.....

As you guys wrote before, David's linear approach is amazing, while keeping a contageous groove and a deeep Pocket... And how he opens up the tune "Give Me Your Love"... YOu can't have a first listen while driving your car... Way too dangerous, it'll make you drive off the road... If not, a speeding ticket for sure!!!

<marquee>I LOOOOVE THIS CD!!!!!!!! </marquee>

<marquee loop="infinite"> GARIBALDI IS DA GROOVALACIOUS 'SHEDD!' </marquee

I forget but a year or less back in Modern Drummer mag their was a great article w/ David and some beats from this new album.

This is a great album! I love it as well. I love all Tower, really, my favorites being "Back To Oakland" and "Live and In Living Color". Great great stuff.

Now, this Dave is THE president!

HEY ... Thanks to the House of Drumming, I found out about the new Tower of Power album; went to the iTunes shop and purchased/downloaded it!

This album is so good, I feel like a kid every time I listen to it ...

Garibaldi sounds AMAZING; the entire band and production are really great.

My favorite album of the year so far ...
