Now, what do you think Nocturne's band sounds like? I asume she sings, because she is probably not going to play guitar much with them hands.
I think something loud and outrageous like Whale of Hole. Any thoughts?

Maybe we can stretch it out a bit with an explanation of what those bands sound like. I've never heard of any of them. Wait, except Garbage, maybe. Chick singer, right?

Well, no. I don't know. I've led a sheltered life. The only music around here is the radio (all country) or Muchmusic. I'm sure I could find these bands at a store but I'm not going to buy a CD and have no idea what I'm getting. It doesn't sound like it would appeal to me, anyway. I don't like the way most female singers sound. They're either too sweet or too... crass.

It is terrible. And all the stores play it... I wanna move to Europe! While I'm off-topic, who here thinks Cambridge is the best university in the world? I'm currently in an argument against this statement even though for all I know, it could be true. (I'll argue over anything.)
Actually, I was thinking she could be the drummer. Or cowbell.
But yeah, L7, Breeders, Garbage...something along those lines.

I can assure you though, that Europe has some suitably annoying substitutes for country. Like Schlagers or nederpop or chansons.
I don't know if Cambridge is the best (the English one, I assume?) but it's certainly the cutest. Beautiful place. Ever been there?

Based on what we've seen of her personality it's kinda hard to judge what style of music it is. (the underwear implies punk or grunge, the hair makes you think reggee(sp) or possibly r&b or hip-hop, but her taste for leather throws the other factors off balance too.)
But since she's from an alternate FUTURE (Nightcrawler's an old man) her band might be some sort of new sound that's never been heard yet.
