Very cool, you two!
If we go to the new Monument (Foxdie and I have been working on something) then we can change the smilies...would you be interested in creating more of the Nightcrawler expression ones, Nocturne?
This is a for-sure thing yet...but with Hostboard being down all the time, I'm leaning towards that. The downside is that all of this would be more or less scrapped...

Good News. Hey, not to be me, but one suggestion. Try changing the timing on Iceman, not the transformation, but the time he is/isn't in iceform. A bit bigger delay so he stays iced for a little longer. Just a thought.

Off the topic, but this is as good a place as any...
Slarti, we might be moving. I'm not sure yet just because this place is still doing so well that I don't want to do anything to spoil that. The other place is being worked on, and I definitely want it to start off at least as good as this place, if not better. The drawback is that this would be scrapped. Literally. Deleted and gone.

Thanks for the kind words Nocturne. I tried to do one of her in her Armor form. As that is my fav Psy, but for it being so small and so pink/purp, the colors blended too much. The Armor would look better in your style I think.

Fasheem- as mentioned, the set is not finished. I still have Pete Wisdom, Lockheed, Douglock and Daytripper to do, with the *possible* inclusions of Alistaire, Moira, and other periphial characters... i jsut had a fair chunk of them done so poeted em. and i realize Wolfsbane looks more like her New Mutants incanation, but it was easier to turn her into a wolf that way http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif and i know some of em arent exacly popular but i'm going for completness here, not gonan leave someone out 'cause i don't like em.

DayTripper did sport a green hood as part of her costume.
And she did like to mimic NC's porting power. But she didn't leave a puff of smoke. It was more like several flashes going off. Pinkish I believe.

about the slight changes - yeah I'm constantly tweaking... Havok also got slimmed down (tho it is hard to tell with the black bg...)and his headgear got adjusted slightly, Cerise's hair too (again, can't see against the black..)timing of the wink was adjusted, as was the laugh... perfectionist to the extreme!! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/tongue.gif

hey BC, looking back on both of ours, i have noticed they tend to get bigger, and bigger.... http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/tongue.gif just not able to put the level of detail needed in on the smaller sizes, eh? been concentrating on keeping them smallish, but with smilies that are supposed to be recognizable as certain characters, it can be tough

Set 6 above is new. Enjoy.
It is difficult to get some characters to be good smilies. I always start off with the typical smilie, then add on as needed. Things like hair (Storm, Arcade), helmets (pyro, G-Force). So the head of the smilie is the same size as a regular smilie. I just add on where need.

I was wondering why it didn't look right....FIXED
I might add a hat to Arcade later, but wasn't having to much success with my first attempts. Fortunately his bowtie saved me on identifying him. Seeing all the smilies there, the blinking is a little annoying when they are all visible. But when you are looking at only a few at a time, it does add a little life into an otherwise static picture.

Still not happy with mystique. I think I am going to try a morph instead of a wipe for the transformation. Kinda like the way Nocturne did her Wolfsbane.

It depends on what you mean by other Apps????
If you mean AIM, then you can simply insert as an image. As far as I know you can't replace your default smilie set. But since AIm allows in-line images, they would still look like smilies in your responses.

Nocturne: I went looking and found some ani-smilie examples on my computer. I used those as the basis to create the new ones. The panting and dissappearance are the only two I came up with. If no else can think of anymore, examples would be nice, I will post the completed set of Nocturne's elf-smilies later next week on my website.

Using the smilies I created for Nocturne's set is OK with me. Seeing them all together, I am tempted to make a few more.
If I get some time I might go off and find some more smilie examples. There isn't a weeping or bawling one in there yet. Maybe a cool (red) shades one.
Oh use this Mys one for the set. It uses the Nocturne version of the elf smilie. And will fit better into the set.
