Well, long ago, we were seriously discussing having us all get together somewhere and just have fun! The Monument Convention, AKA MonCon, idea was tossed around and it slowly faded away...however, I'm still wanting to do it!
I think that if Nightcrawler is CONFIRMED for X2, we should all get together for the premiere and/or opening day...
Anyone with me?!?
I would! providing the movie is released sometime either during christmas or summer break, anyway. unless you all come to Toronto, then it could be any time [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Hey is anyone planning on going to the San Diego Comic Convention, AKA ComicCon? I go every year so if nayone is going we could meet and hang out. We could both dress up and be totally cool!
I live about an hour oudside of NYC, seems to me that that'd be a great place to meet.
Heh, I think I just pegged down why we havn't had a Moncon yet.
So far, everyone's suggested that everybody else come to them.
(I tend to doubt anyone would come to Nashville, though...)
Country music is the devil. But I held a MonCon here in Nipawin a couple weeks ago and amazingly, someone showed! All hope is not lost!

I actually agree. Country is just about the one genre of music I find no merit in.
Oddly enough though, Nashville is the least country place in Tennessee. (not saying much is it.)
If only Nightcrawler fans could actually teleport. Then chosing a meeting place wouldn't be a problem...
I'm ALL for the MonCon!!! I think getting together for the premiere sounds fantastic -especially if Nightcrawler is in the movie.
Ditto here, Shadywhisk. MonCon would be awesome..... it's just getting there. Perhaps we should look at places that some of live at that are more central to everyone. I mean, Toronto would be cool, so would Calgary and Europe, but maybe somewhere inbetween would be better for all of us. And hopefully somewhere that one of us lives to help us find places to stay, etc. (That is if you're willing. [img]smile.gif[/img] )
