Ok, I thought it would be good for everyone to post their fav quotes/dialogues from the elf. I figure this will help us all pay tribute and share memoirs, etc., etc. Anybody wanna jump in?
[Also, if anybody can help me, I've been looking for a particular quote from the elf from Excalibur (I can't find the thing and don't know what issue it is), after Meg and Brian have had a fight--this all dealing with his drinking--and she goes to NC for support, and he tells her something about being "as beautiful as the sunrise" and that if others don't realize this it is "their loss". I think I'd seen this too in Elwing's site a long while back, but not there anymore. Kinda hoping someone here can help out.]

O.K here's one from on old issue of EXCALIBUR that was actuallly choc-full of funny Fuzzy Elf quotes.
EXCALIBUR #31 Nightcrawler battles solo against the 'son of KRAKOA'...the living island that the X-Men battled waaaaay back in Giant sized X-Men #1.
Baby Krakoa is using dopplegangers of the X-Men made from it's body to fight Nightcrawler. After trashing a few of the fascimiles Kurt is temporarily grabbed from behind by a Nightcrawler double.....

Ya know ELWING Kurt really was a wisecracking fool in that EXCALIBUR ish! It was definitely a case of his lighter side taken almost to the extreme. Almost reminiscent of Kurt's characterization in the 1st NIGHTCRAWLER limited series!
