Looking good, Garble! Blue hair suits you very nicely, indeed! Plus, with the link provided by BAMFCentral (thanks!), I got to finally see the photo-manipulations of Dorff-Crawler. Very cool. You're making me miss my dyed hair! It used to be black with lots of red streaks, then black with lots of purple streaks, but now it's just plain old platnium blonde. Blue tinted hair IS difficult to recognize as such in the dark, and usually looks black. But I think that you should keep it up. Dying your hair blue, that is. It looks good on you. (Spookyspice will now stop flirting, hoping that Garble is at least 18, and get herself back to campus for her political sciences class.)

(I live in Brooklyn and I work in New York, where nearly all of my friends live). Oh, good. Garble's of age. I was going to worry about possibly corrupting the morals of a minor. He looks like he could be anywhere from 17-25. Yes, an unusual hair color or style of dress can make you look younger. I'm sort of deathrock-punky looking, and I STILL get carded. All the time. The freckles probably don't help it any, either. I'm 22, and it is frustrating. I'm a grown woman, damnit! Ahem. Oh, cool Slarti! I like red. That's most likely my next color after I get tired of blonde. Mystique! LOL. Now all you need is a headband with a miniature skull on it and a white dress with scandalous slits up the sides! I bet you'd rock that look.

And I like the way my hair looks, I just wish it was easier to apply the coloring. It might be easier if my hair were shorter. As it is now, the back of all my shirts are turning blue (good thing I wear mostly blue anyways..)

It's this stuff I bought at "Hot Topic." called "Raw Color"
It's supposed to be "demi-perminant" and last 3-6 weeks depending on hair type and shampooing. It smelled like blueberries.

Have you tried a product called Special Effects, Garble? It's semi-permanent, but it lasts longer than many other dyes, and the color stays bolder. You look good in blue! Keep it up.

I went back to Hot Topic and asked the goth girl at the register what color product she'd recomend and she pointed to Special Effects.
I bought the only blue they had which is called "Electric Blue" I put some of it in my roots and near the front of my hair. It's really very purple...

ok since were on the topic of hair dyes here and its getting close to halloween,ive got that all important question to ask....lol that little can of color hair spray to use or not to.,,its the calssic stuff in the purple and black cans made by'fun world' anyone outhere know if it has had bad results on already dyed hair???......on the back it says not to use on already dyed hair but u know me who am i to listen to i just want to look spooky for halloween...but then again i don't want to look like i dipped my head in a crayola box of crayons a month later! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

I use that stuff sometimes. The first time I did, it turned the water blue when I took my bath. I thought it was so cool, I was like 7 at the time I think, that I called my mom to come look. :P ANYWAYS! I wanna dye my hair blue now. It's black in real life, those of you who have seen that pic I posted of me know what I'm talking about, wonder how much dye I would need. How much was the dye at Hot Topic?

You'd probably need to bleach your hair first a little for it to show up. It's semi-perminant so it fades out a little every time you shampoo.
