WB Storm: <twitches fingers and makes Fox Storm's badly drawn tornado vanish> "YOU'RE one to talk! How do you get through doors with that hair?"
Movie Storm: "Do you know what happens to hair when it's struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else."
WB Storm: "Huh?"
Fox Storm:"BEGONE!!!!!!!"
WB Kitty: "Like, this is like, toatally unfair. I like, toatally don't have anyone to talk to you, like, y'know? ....Like."
Pryde-of-the-X-Men Kitty: "What's going on here, who are you people? I'm scared, and frightened too. GETAWAY FROM MEEEE!"
WB Kitty: "Like, whoa...! Since when am i a red head?"
Fox Professor X: "I'm sensing a presense unlike anything i've felt before! No, wait... NOW i'm sensing something like i've never felt before. No, wait... here's another one..."
WB Professor X: "This whole thing's a bit silly for me. I'd much rather be back in Scottland eating a nice big hagus..."
Movie Storm: "Do you know what happens to a hagus when it's struck by..."
WB Storm: "Stop saying that!!!!"

Grr! I hated that Fox series so much! (Is that a political correct opinion around here?) It was chunkily animated and blandly designed.It had all the wrong actors saying Big Important Words Like they actually believed in them. It took itself very serious! I hate serious! And from all the stuff I've seen on Evolution it's mellow and humoristic and human and reasonably intelligent. AND I CAN'T SEE IT!GRRR! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gifLife just ins't fair...

I wasn't a fan of the Saban/Graz series. Watching old reruns makes me start laughing sometimes, the over acting was interesting. Every word was just over emphasized. MUST!!! REACH!!!! BUTTON!!!! OR!!! WORLD!!!! WILL!!!! END!!!!!
Well it wasn't that bad, but you get the idea. Saying that, I still try to catch the NIghtcrawler episodes. For the obvious reason, its Nightcrawler.
And Pryde of the X-men use to be my number one choice for Nightcrawler's voice. But when I read the comics its the WB's NC I hear speaking the words. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

I think I have an .rm of the episode "Nightcrawler". You can have it, if you can send me a version of the Evolution clip on your site that can be unzipped by my winzip version. Beware! it's 11 meg...
By the way, that ep is pretty gruesome. it's praise the lord all over...I have the mystique one too, it is a 3 part .rm file, total about 12 meg.
I have pryde of the X-men too I think. In a .wmv format. 122 meg!
So if you have a spot for this stuff we might work out a way to put it online. Let me know!

Thanks for the offer Elwing. But I already have "Bloodlines" and "Nightcrawler" .rm files. I downloaded them from:

I put the link on my site for others to find. I haven't heard of a Pryde of the X being online, and I am not familiar with a .wmv format. But I actually own the original release of that one. I remember bugging my mom for it.
As for the Evolution clip, have you tried upgrading your Winzip?
Is anyone else having trouble?

I find myself unable to watch Pryde of the X-men after repeated viewings and my brother inevitably pointing out that Nightcrawler looks like he's going to molest Kitty. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gif
Well, that and Wolverine with a very bad Australian accent (I mean, c'mon - "Mate"? "Dingo"??).

I dunno. I really loathed POTXM. And personally, I would try to get away quick from any stranger being that friendly to me-. It's just overdone. And I'm not even mentioning the accent....Not even I have an accent quite that bad! Face it, POTXM sucks. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

They did make a graphic novel of the episode. The dialog was a little different, but they used actual screen shots for the pictures.

I thought POTXM was kind of cute. My brother and I laughed out loud through most of it, which maybe wasn't what they intended. To this day, my brother does a perfect imitation of that bizarre expletive that Wolverine uses near the beginning, something along the lines of: "Rrrrrrr-T'uhhh!!"
Plus, Kurt had that noble, self-sacrificing thing going on. The end with him and Colossus was cute. He did kind of look like he wanted to eat Kitty up, though.

The accent was kinda funny for long time fans. But it really didn't bother me.
As for the Kitty and Kurt thing, I never saw that. I know he approached her to kiss her on the hand. As he does to emulate Errol Flynn. I think your brother might be reading too much into that. Kurt was trying to be Charming and Friendly, at least thats what I saw.

I rather enjoyed that he was such a major character in the program, but if I'd never met Kurt and he came toward me with that grin on his face and hunched over like he's gonna pounce me I'd... ah... well, it'd sorta depend on my mood, but you get the point.
