Anyway, what are all 'yall's favorite comics pertaining especially to our Dear Elf? Individual issues that you love because of maybe a certain event, monologue, or even because the art just kicked ass. C'mon, you can tell little old me...

He used to read X-MEN when he was a kid, and he gave me his collection one year. He used to have the 1st issue with Kitty in it, but he sold it, that pissed me off so much. Man, this makes me wanna spend and hour or two digging though the old back issues in my comic book shop.....
Let's see, I'd have to say the linited series and Nightcrawler's Inferno. Those were call.

NC's inferno.Isn't that in one of the b&w TPB's somewhere? I'm sure I've read it. And it's excalibur #42 I scanned by the way ( http://members.nbci.com/elwing_blue/excal42.html ) but #43 is almost as good. (that's the one with Kitty apologizing on the cover)

The problems with the TPBs are that:
1. They're b&w. Ick!

I have Uncanny X-Men annual #4 "Nightcrawlers Inferno"Great story!
Others Im quite fond of are "The Dare" and "The Gift" from Classic X-Men.Also Excalibur Speacial Edition #1,Excalibur #16"Kurt Wagner:Warlord"*wrroaw*and #46 or 48?cant remember the number but its where Nighty kicks major butcheeks!Theres a lot of others I like but those stick out the most.

I liked his series, it's cute. "When you're born with a tail you learn to go through doors fast." Lots of good Fuzzyisms.
I liked the Inferno story too. I've never read The Dare, I've heard about it. I want it. It's in a Classic issue isn't it?
I'd have to think really hard about my fav. It would probably be an Excalibur issue, but which one???

I'm gonna go with Excal #43 and #62 as my all-time favorites. I liked the story in Nightcrawler's Inferno a lot, but I didn't like the way they drew Kurt. I also really enjoyed that X-Men/WildC.A.T.S. crossover, and of course, Excal #16 (::drool: http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif. Wolvie '95 was good, too, and Wolvie #81 has perhaps my single favorite image of Kurt anywhere, though he didn't do much in the story.

I think my list of favo issues is:
1) Excal #42 (the funniest.)
2) the God Loves Man Kills graphic novel (a must read)
3) all the "Essential X-Men TPB's (Hard to find an issue from that period that stands out: they're all good)
4) Excal #16 (the sexiest)
5) Excal #62 (the best fight)
6) the Dare (Best Beer and Male Bonding Level)
7) Giant Size X-Men #1 (The Beginning)
8) A Devil went to Church on Tuesday (Awww poor thing)
9) The Nigtcrawler Limited series (the Cheesiest)
10) Excal #98 (the meanest: makes you feel sorry for Black Air)
I'm sure I forgot something essential here. I reserve the right to get back to this.

They write him into romantic stories with their Mary Sues cleverly disguised as Kitty Pryde. *shudders* It took me a while to catch on, probably because Evo Kitty was already such a lousy character.
