Wolverine.
NIGHTCRAWLER!!!
This is best lineup I've heard in years and years, except for the very conspicuous absence of a female character. Maybe they'll let Casey create one of his own. He seems to be a creative guy, and she'd almost be sure to be a funny chica. I hope so, as much as I hate the idea of new characters because of all the mutants already floating around out there.

NIGHTCRAWLER will less likely be twisted into a pretzel under Casey.Iceman is becoming my second favorite X-Man so thats cool and I always wanted to see some good interaction between him and Nighty AND Chamber is my favorite Gen X kid.All this ranting

Yeah I read that lineup at another board the other day and thought about posting it here, but but at the time it was just another rumor. Now that its official I can feel confident. I'm very glad the elf isn't on morrison's team. And it would be cool to see Chamber as an xman. He was the only gen-xer I liked. Needs to have one or two females on the team though.

Yes Chamber is cool. He has this energy stuff coming out of his chest that he can blast at people. He also says lots of wonderful words like "blimey" and "wanker".

Shadywhisk,thats what I suspect about Kurt and Jono being on the same team.I have a feeling these two might buddy up.They both have a bit in common in the fact that they have to deal with deformities.Maybe Kurts optimistic attitude can make chamber realize that his difference makes him speacial.Plus these two are sooo sexy.Im going to have to have a drool cup with me when I read Uncanny.

WOW! I had a REALLY awesome day today... And a large part of it was because I was in SUCH a great mood from MOUSEY's news!
Hey remember that day when the pranksters at WW had us believing that Nightcrawler was going to die? All day at work I remember being SO pissed and sick to my stomache. Hard to believe a fictional character can bring me to such emotional highs and lows!
From what i've been hearing on the web, a lot of fans arent too crazy about the new line-ups. It's funny 'cause i'm actually VERY excited about em! I think a lot of people are forgetting that the line ups arent set in stone. Also both Casey and Morrison said there'll be a pretty big supporting cast, so I think in the end people will eventually warm up to the rosters.
But hey, it could be a team of Artie and Leeches and i'd be happy as long as Nightcrawler was on the roster!
(Not really but you get the idea!)

The news that two of my number one faves (Nightcrawler and Chamber) were in one of the line-ups really made my day yesterday and I'm still happy!

An article at X-Fan said that the April issue of Wizard is going to have Iceman, Wolverine and Nightcrawler on the cover, drawn by Churchill. Just FYI, from someone who has nothing better to do besides surf the net for X-news.

It seems that while Morrison's team has been vilified all over the net, the biggest complaint about Casey's team seems to be the lack of POWER.
I kinda have a theory that this squad is going to be a LOT more powerful than you might think though. Even with just these core 5 members.
From what i've been hearing, something happens during the upcoming WorldWarIII storyarc that causes a change in a lot of Mutant's powers. ( That would explain the BEAST's new look and the WHITE QUEEN's new powers)
If this theory holds water then imagine, if you will, this scenario...
(My take on this was actually posted at the WizWorld boards.)
*ICEMAN at his full potential will be almost unstoppable.
if *ANGEL goes back to being either the metal-winged BadA@@ OR (even better) the light,Energy-winged, full potential powerhouse that fought DEATH to a standstill, i'm suddenly turning into a big ANGEL fan!
*CHAMBER's already pretty powerful to begin with.
*And it goes without saying that NIGHTCRAWLER used closer to his potential is going to kick a@@. (NO power-up needed! Just start creatively using his Myriad powers!!)
*And dont let the fight with Mr. X fool you WOLVERINE is still just about the best there is at what he does.
If this is the scenario when the May re-vamp kick in, I DEFINITELY think Casey's squad is going to turn some heads!
