Superboy. I dont know what it was, but I rather liked his character.
Robin III. Best version if you ask me. But if you dont ask me, well he still is.
I'm a big Chamber fan. Seems to be common; we must all like the freaks. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif Other X-people I like include Wolverine (to a certain extent), and I've always really dug Storm. Banshee is cool as hell too.
I love the Doctor from the Authority. I love Morpheus from the Sandman. And Rorschach from Watchmen is the single most brilliant comic book character ever conceived.

hmm. In Marvel comics, I like Chamber and Penance before they screwed her up. I can bide Colossus (alas) and Shadowcat and everyone else who used to be in Excal. Outside of marvel I used to be one of the worst ever Elfquest fans, with Rayek as my all time favourite.

Okay I'm not a big one for having favourite characters, I'm a comic fan, and when I read a good comic, I'm happy. So this is a list of some of the comics I have enjoyed in the past year of so, and of course the characters went a long way to making them good so, yeah, I'll like shut up now:
IRON MAN: One of the most underated comics that Marvel has.
THOR: I only started reading him since Heros Return when a mate said the first issue was a cracker. Been loving it ever since.
PUNISHER: Dang! Has this book been a doozy of late!
ANY "KIDS" BOOKS: What can I say? I like the teen angle. Gen X, New Warriors, I even enjoyed the Nova book.
FANTASTIC FOUR: I have enjoyed the Claremont/Larroca stuff and Pacheco's run has been stunning visually and conceptually.
VAMPI: Not the greatest book in the world, but it is the only non-Marvel publication I read (apart from the odd View Askew comic) on a regular basis. I love the art, its what I base a lot of my stuff on.
And thats about it, I think. Oh throw in EARTH and UNIVERSE X too while you're at it!

Sailor Moon- The only manga I've got to read. 2nd favorite comic in the world.

Other Marvel favorites (besides NC): Rachel, Magik, Chamber, Husk, Dazzler, Spidey, Mary Jane -Gambit, Wolvie, and Rogue have their good moments.

Although I haven't read it, the art in Warlands looks INCREDIBLE!!

Captain Britain was pretty cool in Excalibur, at least when Davis was writing him. He came off as kind of funny and hapless. I haven't read his series at all, though. Alan Moore wrote it for a while, didn't he? And speaking of Alan Moore, V from 'V for Vendetta' is also a truly inspired character.

Another fantasy series I like is A Distant Soil, although I havent read enough to pick a favorite.

Storm, although I liked her best when she was punk.
Gambit, I didn't like him at first. He seemed to be nothing more than a macho poser and Rogue's boyfriend and they'd do nothing but sob about how they couldn't make any nooky together. I always liked the Alphans, Northstar and Aurora. Nice to have Northy in the x-men. I hope he stays.
Wolfsbane, although I don't think she's very interesting, I've just always liked werewolves
Wolverine, yeah I badmouth him on occasion, because he gets damned annoying sometimes, but he's pretty damn cool.
I also like Dr. Strange.
I have read other titles from other publishers, some I like, but the characters don't stick with me like the one's I've mentioned.

Well, the standard DC superheroes are just too old-fashioned for my tastes, although I do think Green Lantern looks cool, but I was really into Swampthing way back when. I can't say I enjoyed the title, but it was something that facinated me, like a dead animal or a car accident. Somtimes it would turn my stomach, but I kept reading. I wish I hadn't missed out on the Invisibles or Sandman. It was during a time when I wasn't reading comics. They sound really interesting. Sometimes I contemplate looking for back issues.
I've tried Tranmetropolitan, because of the glowing praise I've read about it, but it just didn't do anything for me.
I also sample some manga-esque stuff now and then, because I like that art style.

Every time I see Doc I think of Vincent Price! I just can't help it. It's a good thing because I'm a huge Vincent Price fan but I just see him as the perfect Strange. Anybody ever seen The Raven? That's Dr. Strange to me! (only Strange is more competant) My SO is a huge Defenders fan and he gets the giggles whenever I mention the Strange/Price connection.

True. I've found translations for Sailor Moon and Sorcerer Hunters. I wish that they would translate Sailor V (the predcessor of Sailor Moon)into English. They have it in French, and I've read translations(all in text, no pics)on the net, but I'd love to have it in English.
