I'm from a relatively small town (pop. 72,000) in Colorado, called Greeley. I'm 20 years old and a student at the University of Northern Colorado. I'm majoring in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations and Advertising and a Minor in Visual Arts. I'm putting myself through college by delivering a free publication called the Employment News.
Obviously, my favorite character is Nightcrawler, although Ultimate Nightcrawler is quickly catching up with the core version. I haven't really been keeping up much with the core books because of monetary constraints and because they've fell short of expectations. But the Ultimate books are very good reads, and if you're not reading them, you're missing out!

My name is Jason Alexander Bhalla-Gaunt (yeah a mouthful I know) so people just tend to call me Jason Gaunt.
I'm a college student in the UK doing a BTEC (I think the US version of this is a bachelors) in computer science and I'm on the 2nd of 2 years.
As far as my hobbies go I like to play Counter-Strike and Operation Flashpoint (but since discovering kurt I rarely play these anymore) and I like anything techie.
As for my love for X-men and our elf, I was only really made aware of nightie and X-men when I tuned in to watch the first episode of X-Men Evolution shown here in the Uk for the first time on cartoon network 16/09/2001 so you could say I'm pretty much a freshman.
But dont let that fool you, I'm as eager as the next person to stay up to date in the NC world.
As for my favourite version of kurt, I'd have to say its a tie between the X-Men evo series and the Ultimate X-Men series (I NEED #9 and #10 goddammit hehe)
I cant stop thinking about what would happen if I saw kurt in real life, daydreaming about how cool it would be and what we'd do.
I've also come up with my idea of what Kurts Grandson would look like in a dystopian future (look at "X-Men animated series: One Mans Worth pt1" for what I mean) and perhaps I might do a fanfic on that. Sure to entertain people if I ever get round to writing that.

Okay, I'm MoonbeamDancer, a resident fanfic writter here. I've got tons of nick names, this is just a few of them. Beems (Spatch gave that one), Beemie(BAMF), Koneko-hime, (Japanese, means Kitten-Princess and my best friend Rachel gave that one.), Rei-chan(take off the "chan", sound familar? Rachel), Neko(Cat, Rachel again), Kid (step-dad) and Koneko(Kitten, Rachel yet again).
I've been writting on and off for years, but started doing it continually (sp?)my Junior year of high school. I've done around somewhere between 30 to 40 fics, I think. If any of the new people hear any honey, whipped cream, or pooh porn jokes on here, that's kinda my fault. (lol)
I'm a Sophmore in college, (don't look or feel like it) and my major is Graphic Arts with an intrest in web design. (Used to be Drama.)

Hi, I'm Rex Luscus. The name, if any of you should be wondering, is from an old Philip Jose Farmer story called "Riders of the Purple Wage" and literally translates as "king one-eyed". As the inimitable Ovenmitboy once said, it's both a "nob gag" and an allusion to a certain proverb ... but enough about that.
I'm 23 years old and I live in New York City. I have no discernable profession, no life goals, and no dreams for the future. In my spare time, which is copious, I run a little website dedicated to the fuzzy one called "The Nightcrawler Index" (see link below). It's mostly taken up by fanfiction, fanart, and inane editorializing by me, but I'm absurdly proud of it. If you take a look at it, you'll notice that the fanfic and fanart is frequently slash-themed, as slash is my other passion. I think the term is "slash-slut" -- yes, that's what I am. I fell in love with Kurt when I got into X-Men comics a few years back. Before that, I only read the high-profile arty comics like "The Sandman" and "Watchmen" -- my favorite comic book character of all time is still Rorschach. But then I checked out one of those Essential X-Men books, the one with John Byrne's run in it, and became fascinated by the tailed demon fellow whose face was always in shadow. I had no idea he was blue until I bought an "Excalibur" comic. Speaking of "Excalibur", Alan Davis continues to be pretty much my favorite comics artist of all time, though these days I really love Frank Quitely, the dude who's currently drawing "New X-Men".

I'm 17 years old and I live in a tiny little town (pop. 5000) in Saskatchewan. I'm currently employed at a grocery store but since I hate it with a desperate passion... one week max and I'm quitting whether I get another job by then or not. I would rather pump gas. And most likely will...
I've been here since January but (here it comes) I really only stay around for the company. Probably some of you have guessed this by now. I finally figured it out myself about a week ago.
I hope to go to university in Ottawa next year, I visited last year and it was a wonderful place. I'm sick to death of small places where the basic necessities (comics, magazines, Wal-Mart) are unavailable and the only radio station plays country around the clock. I'm going into pharmacy, unless I get a better idea.
I read a lot, listen to music and go out on weekends with my friends. My favorite band is The Tea Party. I simply cannot talk about myself without mentioning that.

Oh, were to begin? My full name's Kjell Willy Mikael Wilander (everybody's calling me Micke which is an equivalent for Mike I assume), and currently am 20 years old (Jan. 5th). My ancestry is quite boring, as long back as I know I'm only Swedish (though there's some rumours saying that far back there's a little German blood).
Since one year back, I live and study in Uppsala (134,338 inhabitants December 31th, 2000), which by the way is Swedens oldest University. I'm currently studying the second year for an Master of Science (Phil. Mag.) graduation in biology.
Hmm, a long time ago (late 80's I believe) I bought some Spider-Man issues (the only super hero magazine available where I lived then) and adored the few issues where the true super powered heroes made cameos (i. e. X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four...). After some years (1991) I found my first X-Men issue (note that this particular issue consisted of the first three Excalibur issues), and then I noticed Nightcrawler. But it took me till April this year before I bought my first issue in English. Since then I'm rapidly building my collection.
I'm no artist, no painter, no drawer, no musician, no singer, no writer, no politician, no good that is. (Aw, just one post?) Ok, I'm a biology student in 2nd year of college. I have posted some more stuff in the other thread "A/S/L." My interests/hobbies/likes include the elf, reading (just about anything), sketching, writing, learning other languages/cultures, listening to music (just about anything), arts&crafts, etc, etc. The only things I'm for the most part not into are math, complex technology, and pumpkins.
As a child, I didn't even know of the existence of comics...until I a friend clued me in, then I started investigating (I can get pretty curious) and eventually found out about NC. I am soon to be 18 years old (this Fri, Sept 28) and I live in the great state of Montana. I am a senior this year (finally!) and I'm an active musician in the community, though there are fewer opportunities for me this year... I've been a comic geek for most of my life and not too long after I discovered that I was a SPIDER-MAN maniac I got hooked on the UNCANNY X-MEN. The character I was almost instantly drawn to? I quickly became hooked on Comic and Sci-Fi message boards and naturally I was drawn to the X-Men Forums. It seemed like at every X-Forum I posted in I would get ragged on for being a Nightcrawler fan ( http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/mad.gif ). So I kinda went a little crazy with posting Nightie related topics and trying to get non-fans to realize just what a kick a@@ character Kurt was. To my surprise and delight I discovered that over at WIZARDWORLDS X-Forum there were actually a bunch of other Elf fans like SKYE, GARBLE, LAURABETH, DRAGONLADY and WICKEDWOLVERINE who felt the same way! The birth of WizardWorlds' Legendary Nightcrawler thread brought a lot of the good buddies who post here in KC's Monument together. Old timers like KNIGHT-CRAWLER, SPATULA GAL, GARBLE, ELWING, SUGAH, SLARTIBARTFAST, SHADYCAT, DRAGS, X-GIRL etc. made the jump from WizWorld to Hostboards, and it's been one big Nightcrawler love fest ever since!
Side note:
To my utter and complete amazement and delight, in the past year NIGHTCRAWLER has enjoyed perhaps THE greatest amount of exposure, appreciation and admiration i've ever seen him enjoy!

Okay! I'm back! I'm Slarti, and I followed Knighty and my other buds like Bamfie, Spatch and many others from the Wizard World board. I'm 25 years old, recently married and a professional journalist in Kansas City.
I started reading comics out of self defence, as my husband is a long-time comic collector. I started reading X-Men back issues in his collection and went through the usual fangirlish devotions to Wolvie and Gambit until I discovered Excalibur. I fell in love with Nighty, and Kitty. His character has never been better than when written by Alan Davis and Warren Ellis, in my opinion, where his strength, faith and compassion shine. He is one of the strongest characters in the X stable, and I only hope he is allowed to shine again soon. Don't get me started on the priest thing.
Until that time I write Nighty fanfiction under the name of Saille. Many of my stories have been posted here on the forum and are achived at Rex's Nightcrawler Index, Fonts of Wisdom and a few other sites. I wrote a novella, which I hope to post soon. With it, I will launch a archive for my own work, and maybe later for the work of others.
I occasionally still hang on Yahoo Messenger, as rsaille, and I've never gotten MSN Messenger to sucessfully download. I'm going to try to hang here a bit more often now that I'm back.

I've only been an NC fan for about, oh, nine months, as formerly, I didn't know he existed. When I did suddenly learn of his marvelous being, I became an instant addict.
I'm most "famous, noted, vasever" for my stupid banana fics, hence the name, and my X-Men Psychology. I guess I'm a bit of a "Evo-Kurt apologist", although I like all versions to some extent.

Okay . . . an official introduction. I rarely, if ever, give out my real name on the internet so you all will just have to call me by my 'net name, "Vizon Rok" (my main character while role playing Redwall). So anyway, IRL I live in the Rockies and go to a university. I'll be 20 in November, and then next year sometime I'm heading down south to earn a bachelors in multimedia (learning MAYA, 3D Studio Max, and other forms of comp. animation and film editing). Right now? I'm struggling through a horrific graphic design class that's wearing me into a frazzle (plus five other classes). I don't suppose that my ancestry is very important, but for those who care I can tell you that I'm related to a guy with the last name of "Pickle" (I find this amusing), President James K. Polk, and the real "Johnny Appleseed" [Huzzah!] I have crazy dark hair that likes to roam and glasses or contacts depending on my mood. Okay enough of that - on to Nightcrawler!
Truthfully, I'm not the hugest blue elf fan, but my good friend, Bananarift, has been nuts about him for some time, mentioning him in every other sentence and bombarding me with pictures and writings. In turn, I dug up info and drew my first Nightcrawler picture to send 'Rift because I knew she'd like 'em. I've always enjoyed the old X-men cartoons, but I really got into them when the movie came out and I bought Sanderson's big Ultimate X-men book. I've become more of a NC fan by accident, really. If Bananarift had not recorded the Evolution series for me, I probably wouldn't like him as much as I do because I know so little. But the largest contributing factor for my affection towards Kurt is that he is fantastically delightful to draw! Such striking blue features and such fun to sketch those pointy ears, three-fingered hands and feet, and that devilish tail!
I stick around this board because I like the people and I know that they enjoy my illustrations more than anyone else ? and that is the precise reason I draw these pictures ? so that others beside myself might enjoy them. Other than doodling blue elves in English, I like to read the Wolverine comic series, and am currently sampling some Deadpool as well.

Hi! I'm a brand new member. I just got into comics about 9 months ago. (My fiance got me hooked.) My name is Dillon Wilson, and I am a 22 year old chick. (23 on January 27th. An Aquarius) I currently attend Brooklyn College, and my primary fields of interest are sociology, gender studies, media studies and political science. I also study history, anthropology, theology, english, environment and philosophy. I'm into body art (always expanding my collection!), and I LOVE music. I've got some pretty eclectic tastes, and I also sing and play bass and a play keyboards a little bit.
I've been a Nightcrawler fan since J.R. High School, when I started buying back issues of X-Men and Excalibur, the graphic novels related to those books, and 'Crawler's 1st solo series. He's always been my favorite character. In High School I got into fringe stuff like Diane DiMassa, Jhonen Vasquez, Roman Dirge, and Voltaire's Oh My Goth series. In other words, snotty pretentious comics. But they're funny. I liked Hellblazer and Vampirella when I wasn't getting snotty comics. Then I started getting nostalgic and bought back issues of Excalibur and X-Men again. I've always loved the Nightcrawler character, and he's what drew me back to marvel. Aesthetically, he's just one of the best characters ever drawn, and I dig the personality of the character a lot. I really like Ultimate Kurt, and the variations on the character. I am NOT digging the priest Kurt variation in Uncanny, though. But I still buy it, faithful to my favorite blue fuzzy elf. So now I get weird looks picking up pretentious indy comics and Excalibur and X-Men. But I'm more than used to weird looks. Remember, I'm a spooky deathrock/retro punk hybrid creature, so.....

I have a chronic, possibly fatal disease called eosinophilic fasciitis. It is a very rare disease that causes the skin ans soft tissues to harden. "Eosinophilic", refers to eosinophils, white blood cells that fight allergies. So it's like I'm allergic to myself! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/eek.gif The eosinophils can also invade other parts of the body and cause damage to the blood, resulting in cancer and serious blood diseases. The risk of that increases in the long term of the disease, and actually where I'm at now, 3 years, that is considered long term! Right now, I'm anemic, and I had a scare earlier this summer, when it appeared there may have been a tumor behind my ear, luckily it turned out to be nothing. Despite this, I'm a sophomore in college, I'm 20 years old, and I want to become an art major! I'm unhappy with the curriculum at the college I'm attending now, so very soon you'll be hearing from me in Ft. My first 'close encounter of the fuzzy-elf kind' took place while flipping through channels. Rogue Recruit was on, and I got really into it. I saw Kurt and flipped out. I've been hooked ever since.
Hm...hobbies. I have no life. Really. I like to read comics and play Nintendo. Smash Bros. Rule! My favorite comics are the old Excalibur ones. They're just so funny!!

goodness... um... umm... well i couldn't think of a good user name so i jsut went with my real name, Jill Johansen. I'm 23, live in Canada, originally form Albeta, but currently live in Oakville, Ontario because i go to Sheridan College, I am in the Classical Animation Program.
got into comics rletavely late, when i was about 18 or so, with the Sandman, but x-men became one of my favs very quickly after i got ahold of the older ones in TPB, and it really did not take long for me to fall for Nightcrawler bigtime.... i like the new x-men evolution as well, great design work there. but i really don't have a favorite artist or anything, i have a few artists renditions i definately do NOT like, (like the last issue of Uncanny... ick) but typically i like seeing different styles, mix things up a bit.

Uh, let's see. What should I say about myself?
Well, first off, I'm 15 and a sophmore in High School. My name is Kristi Marie Wszolek (and don't worry if you can't pronounce my last name, no one can, not even my teachers).
I used to watch the old series of X-MEN and I read some of the comics, but I had never really noticed Nightcrawler before untill I watched the Evolution series.
I was introduced to this site from a friend of mine, Blueflame, and I love being here.
Some of my hobbies are writing (I'm writing a X-MEN Evolution, fan-fic, and I'm also writing a story that I hope will turn into a book if I can get the story good enough), I like to listen to music, read, and watching the Evolution series of X-MEN.
I guess that's all I have to say. I don't know anything else that I can think of.
