Hey guys, check this out. If anyone can make out the text of the picture in question, maybe they could post it here. My poor old eyes can't handle it.

"Heartless fools, they know not what they do." X-Men Animated Series, Episode 318
Ok, here goes, everything that was writen in the picture (both the news article and the song lyrics quoted at the top of the pic). Enjoy!:
****
Daily Bugle Music News by Ken Siu-Chong
Few would have guessed that 5 teenage mustants could have changed a nation...but they did. Scott, Jean, Kurt, Rogue and Pietro were social misfits, the only mutants at the suburban BAyville High School. Aside from being mutants, they also shared a love of music and decided to form a band that they dubbed, "X-Men rEvolution". They drew inspiration form their common life experiences and found that a pen and a pick were the perfect (?) for the throttled rage that each of them carried. They wrote personal songs about their mistreatment as mutants and the injustices they faced both in school and society. Playing in underground clubs and bars, they also began to notice something that amazed them - they were not alone. As word of their music spread, they played before ever-increasing crowd of mutant teens who identified withe their lyrics.
They wrote inspirational music to make mutants stand and be proud of their genetic heritage. Their songs spoke of social and political change, challenging the structures and establishments that had systematically discriminated against mutants for years. This proved to be the most fruitful time of the band's songwriting career, culminating in the mutant-pride anthem, "The Mutant Revolution Will Not Be Televised."
*~*
Song Lyrics:
"The mutant revolution will not be televised.
The mutant revolution will not be yours for 4 easy payments of 29.95.
The mutant revolution will not be low in unsaturated fat & it will not give you fresh icy-cool breath.
There will be no slow motion replay of mutants being beaten on the 11 o'clock news.
The mutant revolution will not be televised."

Scott on vocals? *sigh* Don't these people know that you're supposed to put the hottie on vocals?! Actual talent is always a secondary consideration. Man, why not Lance on vocals? Oh yeah, baby! ... Hey, he isn't even there! He's the most punk-rockerish of them all!
That's an awfully muscle-y Kurt. And look! Four fingers! Whoops!

"Let's just file it under U for uncanny and move on."
Oooooh! Kurt on drums! Yay! I play bass, so I could steal him and make him play in my band, and we'd be the rhythm section! Thanks for posting this! He does look pretty good all muscle-bound, but give me the scrawny, two-fingered (a thumb is not a finger!) Kurt any day of the week!

LOL! Fasheem, you are so right! But I was actually thinking that Cyke might not have the actual talent for vocals!
I thought he would have to have vocal talent, or why else would they put him there? http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif
Maybe: leader of the X-Men = lead singer of the band

hehe scott on vocals i could see jean on vocals and scott as a back-up dancer with kurt hes got the moves, but u really don't need talant to sing ...look at j-lo she may look pretty, but my basset hound could sing better than she could carry a tune.

"C'mon,it was za eyes and tha blue fur wazn't it? I KNEW it was more zan just my charming personality."

~Kurt to Dana in Evolution:Future's Past?
Oh hells yeah! A girlie on lead guitar! Go Jean! I didn't realize Rogue was playing bass. It doesn't look like her. Pietro? He's a bad guy at Bayville, isn't he? I'm confused. Yes, the lead singer is usually a fox, so I don't think Scott should sing (sorry Cyclops fans!). Kurt is apparently taking some steroids to hit those skins (drum skins, I mean), or maybe because he knows in the future he'll be an angst-ridden priest who has to fight off fangirls on steroids at conventions. O.K., now I'm just taking stuff from other threads and posting it in new ones. Wacky.
LOL, Nightcrawler'sLove! J-Lo gets pretty harsh treatment from you! She's about as mediocre as Madonna in terms of vocal talent, if you ask me, and is a much better dancer. And she's built like a woman, and all natural!

I'm actually happy they didn't put Jean on vocals. *shakes head* It just doesn't seem right. Given a choice between Scott and Jean, Scott all the way!
Jean just doesn't have the obvious high angst level needed to pull off a revolutionary band thing. She shouldn't be in the band at all, IMO. I guess they needed another girl and she was better than Kitty. *sigh*
Now Boom Boom... she would fit!

I bet Kurt drums something like that Animal guy on the muppet show.
Not to mention Pietro giving a whole new meaning to the expression "speed metal.."
He's smoking by the way. I wonder how Quesada will feel about that.

Yes, Fasheem, Boom Boom would be waaaaaaay more appropriate. Did you watch today's (10-6) episode of Evo yet, BTW?

Goddess in progress.....
Yes. Even though I hate her personally, I still think she'd be a better fit for a band like this. She'd be the Jim Morrison of the mutant revolution, always getting into trouble, staying out late, having her drunken carcass dragged into the studio after a night of partying... http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

LOL, Fasheem! Boom Boom would be the mutant Courtney Love! She's a rock chick, no doubt!

If I knew more about Courtney Love, I might have used her as a comparison. But hey, stick with what you know... and I know Jim. I read his biography, anyway. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/tongue.gif

I looooove Jim Morrison, Fasheem! You're not missing out on much not knowing much about Courtney, though. I just thought it was a good comparison, because Courtney's reputed to be bossy, rude, thoughtless and reckless, so.....

"No one talks to Courtney Love, they just dress like her." I heard that somewhere. Something like that anyway. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif
*sigh* Oh Jim! Do you have the same B&W poster I do? http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/tongue.gif
