me and my numorous siblings are always playing the game where "ok who would win..."
so answer me this .. the big question..
who would win elficionados?:
nightcrawler or spiderman.

well while we bring up technicalities... does Nightie get to use his swords?

welllll its only fair that if spidey has his web shooters , kurt gets his swords, though i wuld rather it be hand to hand , body to body, etc.

It would be rather hard for spidey to react to a sudden kick coming from behind him, if Kurt happend to port there from a distance. Also, if Kurt managed to get a hold of spidey, he could wear him down by showing him is other dimension. (But where would the fun in that be?)

I'm suspecting that if Kurt 'ported behind Spidey (to try and take Spidey by surprise), Peter's spider-sense would alert him just in time so he could get away from NC (just my guess here). Teleportation vs. Spider-sense would make a pretty good fight. Hmmm, I'll have to ponder this one!

SHADY ya hit the nail right on the head with your post! I desperately want to say that NIGHTCRAWLER takes this match. I have to grudgingly admit though that I believe Spidey would win this fight. Now I do not know how you see the battle but I assume you have Kurt on the offencive, when as I see it Nightcrawler could win if he took a more defenceive style.. leting him obseve some of his spider actions and moves before makeing his strike-I'm a chess player, canya tel http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif -besides, just becuase Spiderman gets spidersence warnings, does'nt mean he always act on them.

hey by the way i jus'read a lil' x-book/novel w/ kurt as the main character ( one of them any way) heh hes squares off w/ balasco in fenceing, its really kinda kewl.

VERY true BLUEFLAME! Hey and ya know the first time they met and fought WAAAAYYY back in Amazing Spider-Man #162, Nightcrawler kinda knocked Spidey around a bit!

Ja, Bamfie, 'twas me who was talking about that book to Drags. Wonderlass is right, it's not marvelous, pun intended, but it's okay and it's Excalibur and it's got lots of good ol' swashbuckling Kurt action!

yea the cover was is pretty bad, it really kinda bugged me.
i was jus' glad that it featured our fine furred friend.

I actually went out and bought that book on Friday and read it over the weekend... Its nifty for Kurt's thoughts on his otherworld self (Belasco's creepy little slave) and for the big swordfight.
Otherwise, it was fun to explain the plot to people. "So its the X-men, Excalibur, and Dracula teaming up to fight a Demon Sorceror? And this was actually published?"
