The show was a huge success. It was a group show, and I had three pieces in it. The head of my department offered to buy one of my pieces! Cha-ching! hehehe

Glad everything went well for you Elfears! Sorry I'm a little late to wish you luck, but it sounds like the show went really well! I've been in student art shows before, once in high school, and recently in the college art show. This semester I thought about entering my aluminum dragon. I thought about attaching red fiber optics to make it appear it's breathing fire and a red jewel for an eye, what do you think? Anyway, that's enough about me, let's get to the good part, how much were you offered for your piece? I'm dying to know....

Thanks Slarti and Bamfette and everyone else. The guy who wants the piece told me to tell him what it's worth, so I have no idea what to charge him. I'm having lunch with him on Thursday. We'll see!
That dragon sounds cool, Bamfette. If you think it'll look good, do it. I've gotten to the point where I don't even listen to my instructors anymore when they tell me not to do a project. Right now I'm making an Anubis mask and I'm gonna make an outfit and wear it to class. "Who wants to be the first to die!" hehehe

"Space Balls"? Never heard of it. But I'm not a big science fiction fan. I like fiction and real science is fascinating but most science fiction authors have such an inflated sense of, well, of... something. Like Dune. A science fiction "classic". I didn't even make it to page 100! Jezie finished it, but she likes Robert Jordan, author of a series that I would have to call bloated.
